It was a good run. I'd give 7 a 7/10 at most, but it didn't completely run off the rails and lose the plot like season 8 except for that terrible zombie bear.

Pretty much this, but I'd give Season 8 a 4/10 purely because;
1) The CGI/SFX was amazing
2) The score/soundtrack was incredible
3) The acting was great (Emilia Clarke hnggggggg)
I'd argue they had one good song with the NK, and then nothing else to show for it in critical moments, like Cersei and Danys death or the KL fight.

Also for 2 years I was expecting a lot more for the dragon fights.

Pros:
-Daenerys gets to be queen just like she wanted.
-Jon gets to be King just as the story built him up to be and solves the whole "rightful heir to the throne" plot.
-Jon bangs Daenerys, so she doesn't go psycho. We all know that not getting laid makes people do crazy things.
-Jon gets to smash Daenerys. She's hot so that's a total win for him.
-They're in love, so getting married is a good idea.

Cons:
-Incest, but they already smashed so this one is minor.
They smashed without knowing, when you know it is whole another game for Jon snow, it didnt make a difference for Dany.

In the #GameofThrones Pilot, the camera cuts to Bran, not Jon, when Ned Stark says 'King of the Andals and the First Men'

If they just let Sansa and the North be independent, why wouldn’t the other kingdoms want to do that? Especially Dorne and the Iron Islands. Nothing in the episode makes sense.

Seasons
1-4 = 10/10 - Superb acting, an engaging story and a world where actions have consequences
5 = 7/10 - Still good, but this is where they started to invent their own stuff that wasn't in the books. I started noticing cracks in quality here, and minor plotholes
6 = 7/10 - Same as 5, still good, but the quality was clearly inferior to the parts that had direct book inspiration
7 = 5/10 - Major plotholes and a shorter season. I noticed a significant drop in quality. Not in the acting or effects, but the writing began to suffer majorly
8 = 3/10 - Totally disappointing for me. The writing seems to have fallen off a cliff, and realism has been replaced by fan service and spectacle

Well you see, the king has an army, power and fear that is required to keep everyone in line... Oh wait no he doesn't.

Guys, the Valonqar prophecy came true. If Jaime and Cersei just moved over a little bit, they could have avoided the falling debris. Jaime held her there on purpose obviously.

Story is more important to me not special effects and silly battles, both of those battles had zero military intelligence.

Best episode this season for me was episode 2, would give it an 8/10.
