People sue, and win, every day after signing contracts that may not seem in their favor. There are a lot of defenses to breach of contract, as well.

Having said that, I don't think they should be paid anything, either in settlement or by court judgment. In this day and age, how could you possibly think that a porn video would not have at least the potential to go viral/mainstream?
