Wouldn’t change a thing, had it pretty rough up until about age 24, but life is pretty great now actually.

We need a full-time misc therapist nowadays. You should ask yourself what would make you happy...and start putting in effort to do those things srs.

I see people stuck in a circle of bad habits, they are depressed, they know what they must do to break the cycle, but never put in any work to get there.

I hear you.
However, You're not taking the time to view the world objectively. You have the strong bias of optimism that all humans have, until they reach a certain point of course.
First I wasn't born in first world country. I spent most of my childhood in one of the poorest and most war infested countries in the world with an abusive father. So, I have the perspective that many people don't have, not to be pretentious of course. I actually thought coming to America would make me happy. My mother fell for the American dream illusion and brought my brother and i here. To keep a long story short, we had a brutal awakening from the American dream. Most Americans are working dead-end jobs, and the degree of wealth inequality is almost as high as it was during the 18-19th century.
Yes there are a few good moments in life, but you pay close attention you're gonna see that tragedy is the common theme of human evolution or just evolution in general. Most people are meant to suffer. That's just life
That's why I said, it's very critical to have developed effective coping mechanisms during your years of development if you haven't hit the genetic lottery in terms of looks, family, or brain chemistry.
Refusing to see this is just pure intellectual dishonesty

I completely agree with you on the matter of politics. I actually have a hard time believing that people take politics seriously. It's the biggest reality TV in the world. I guess it helps people cope

Yea sure why not. Everything is going pretty well but also too early to tell. I want to see what kind of crazy chit happens in the next 40 years.

I've had some lows, but life is good when you turn it around. I don't really mind experiencing the chitty parts of life that much anymore, it's just a part of it.

If you lose your job unfairly, you have a choice. You can lay around on the couch watching TV, and accept unemployment for six months. Or you can make getting back on your feet your new job.

I changed my life a great deal and it helped being an aestheticcel so I guess it helps stay afloat if women are always hitting on you everywhere you go (but now I'm balding and look a bit older and hair sucks so wth) but last summer I developed an extremely rare disorder that I've only now defeated but debilitated me. Now I no longer am able to derive pleasure or genuinely feel happy or many normal emotions humans feel in response to things. The only one remaining is the ability to laugh if I find something funny in the moment.

No child deserves the childhood I deserved and despite everything I've done to change myself it seems life decided to throw me another curveball last year as a big fuk you. When you cannot feel the emotina normal people feel what's the reason of life?
My brother abused me too and I have deep seeded issues because of him. I became a bi polar schizophrenic at 16yrs old as that's what the doctor diagnosed me with. I dropped out of school because I was depressed and suicidal. I've been in hell all by myself for over a decade because I struggle each and everyday. I'm never happy and I wish I was never born. I wish my mother would've had a miscarriage with me like she almost did when she was pregnant. I beat myself up constantly for not standing up for myself against my brother and just let him use me as a punching bag.

Fuk this life and fuk this existence that I came into. I'm a fuking NEET and I will never amount up to anything. I have no friends irl I'm always so lonely and alone. I hate myself. Everytime I look in the mirror I hate what I see in my reflection. Everything was taken away from me by my brother and I wish he would drop dead. I wish he could feel the pain I feel because of what he did to me.

Life has been chit for me. I'm trapped in my mind and I'm trapped in this black hell that I call my life. I'll never get out of the abyss. I'm fuked.
