Might sound cynical but when a girl initiates that talk I have to ask if there's someone else. Just straight up to her face.

Its brutal for sure but if you have a goal and push through to the end it is worth it.

My worst hours were 8 years of 12-18 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Eat in a deficit to lose weight.
Hit your protein and fat minimums to stay healthy and keep your gainz.
Lift heavy and do HIIT to look and feel awesome.
Use the internet to learn why you should do these things and how to do these things.

You do have a choice. You only need enough money to have a quality life and you should be able to do that on no more than 40 hours a week.

Anything above 40 hours is NOT worth sacrificing relationships for.

You value whatever is going on at work over your relationship. Whatever that may be, the money, the prestige, the fact that you have an excuse to not get close...

after I graduated and got my CPA I realized the work wasn't for me, was putting in 70-80 hrs a week for 2 years before I went off into another field. See some of my buddies who stuck with it and are now making $150-$200k in their late 20's/early 30's but I still don't regret it.

and i was miserable working 60-70 hours. No idea how you did 80 AND had a gf. She made the right move. I cant tell you how to live your life, but I would like to suggest that you value time a lot more
