Easily Halo 3. The amount of time I put into unlocking everything from flaming helmets to recon armor (when it was hard), to getting to Level 50 on ranked, and the amount of custom games was disgusting. Loved every second of it.

Also honorable mention to DDR. Used to spend hours at the arcade in high school with my friends just chilling and playing DDR as well as MvC2. We definitely got our last hurrah in before the internet killed the arcade. Will always cherish those memories.

Halo 3 has to be the GOAT multiplayer game. It's 2019, 12 years after release on the 360, and the game is still going very strong on Master Chief Collection. I still remember playing Valhalla for the first time on the beta release like May, 2007, and being blown away. The maps, the visuals, the weapons, the gameplay- all near perfect imo. The only thing I didn't get into much was the campaign.

League of legends 5-10k hours over 7 years. Still play it I have uninstalled 50 plus times.

Counter strike 1.5/1.6/source prolly 5 k hours. Only got 200 hours in csgo though.

Age of empires conqueres 1k plus hours back in the day w good ole zone.com . Would be more if zone didnt shut down

That is one of the most archetypal Nerd sub-culture things, that I have ever read in my life.

Yeah I like the setting and that Chinese culture as well. Gives me some sort of nostalgia also because it reminds a bit of watching old Bruce Lee movies and doing martial arts when I was younger. Since you can go to the dojo’s to train, wear Bruce Lee’s outfit from Game Of Death, and the one DLC is based off of Enter The Dragon.

I was playing Halo 2 on release day, and during the earliest of the earliest of stages of xbox live.

3 > 2 all day for me. The game is cleaner, looks better, plays better with overall better maps (give me pit stop, high ground, valhalla over anything in halo 2). Not as much cheapness in 3- no bxr, harder noob combo, etc. Better weapons (introduction of laser severely weakens the cheapness of vehicles). Introduction of items, which are brilliant- the bubble shield, regen.

From my experience on MCC, Halo 3 seems to get a lot more love, now that you can play both games side by side. Going back to Halo 2 from 3 is just not as fun, and doesn't look as good (even the revamped anniversary of Halo 2). Don't get me wrong, Halo 2 was great for its time, but imo has not held up to the test of time like Halo 3 has.
