If someone is wearing headphones I typically just try to get their attention and say "Hey I'm sorry to bother you but how do you like those headphones? Are those the Beats, AirPods, Bose, etc...."

I've done this probably literally 500+ times in the past 6 months and have literally NEVER had an experience where someone was pissed at me for interrupting. Once they answer your question you can tell whose friendly or not and decide from there whether to continue the convo or not. You can generally tell they don't want to keep talking if they keep the headphone right by their ear so they could put it right back in. Usually people are pretty enthusiastic about telling you all the pros/cons of their headphones for some reason.

If their body language is good I keep the convo going and deepen by asking if they wear them while they work out or while they're at their job. From their, you can be like "Oh where do you work out? What kind of work outs do you do, etc..." or "Where do you work? Are you able to wear headphones at your job?" etc... It's not wierd typically because its a natural extension of the convo.

From their, you can pretty much take the convo any where you want it to go.

Maybe you're not the best looking guy, peachy...but cold approaching isn't impossible if you're in a big city.

I'm an average looking dude in Chicago and met one person each day this week (bus, baseball game, gym and dog park). Again, it takes a little effort and some balls but most people are receptive to conversation if you ask about their day.

The best you get with cold approach is a forced convo and a polite rejection when ever you suggest nothing something another time they reject also the pub and bar things a myth women never go to bars without men they already know so you have no chance of meeting anyone there just talking about the bars all over London they are the same lol.

100% ioi missed, didn't act upon, all negs welcome.

Getting lunch at this Mexican taco stop, place is all outdoor seating and has like 6 picnic tables, something you'd see streetside in mexico, cool small authentic spot.

Anyways, I walk in and see this girl on her phone waiting for her food facing the counter, and two women with small kids a few tables away. I order mine and instead of sitting the picnic table next to her, I sit one behind her but face her direction to look at the counter as well. Fock up #1

At this point I'm folding up my receipt and looking up and down. 10 seconds go by and she turns her body slightly my direction. I should have asked what tacos she likes from here. Fock up #2

Another 10 seconds go by and her food comes. She takes the bag, sort of holds it and thinks, and then she leaves to her car. She proceeds to eat the food in the car. This had me confused actually.

Anyways, total fock up by me and I knew it right when I sat down. Didn't seize the opportunity, or at least I think so.

It helps me to be in the right frame of mind beforehand. Like you, I'll see the openings, but once I process then, it's too late and won't react. But If I tell myself before leaving the house, before leaving my car, before entering an establishment, etc., "If I see an opening, I'm going to take it." I seize way more opportunities doing this because it is NOT natural for me to strike up a conversation with strangers, since I'm introverted. I've spent years improving my conversation skills, so now I just need a little internal push to get the ball rolling.

And peachy and EOD are right. Cold approaching is rare. Which is why if you do it, you instantly have an advantage. Maintaining the status quo does not allow for self-improvement. It's all about creating opportunities for yourself. You make zero percent of the shots you don't take, so there is ONLY gain to be had.

Simply having the confidence to talk to strange women, regardless of the outcome, feels really good to me. Not talking to women, when I had the chance, feels really bad to me.

The results you get, should not define you or how you choose to live your life. I don't know how you two live with yourselves being such pathetic losers. SRS.

So now your saying it is rare which means no one does it? Bit contradicting you have nothing to lose and nothing to gain people aren’t even friendly if you cold approach dude I felt good approaching but then it just got tiring and exhausting nothing positive comes from it I guess you could approach one person a day if you feel like socialising

That's the thing very few people are friendly. I'm going to a concert Sunday and i'll tell you how many people are approaching others. I am betting nobody strays away from their group and is on their phones.

People just never look friendly when they are not in groups. Like today i was walking outside the city on lunch and every person i passed had ear buds in, was on their phone or just had a bert stare on their face. No smiles, nods, nothing. Back in the day i remember walking around the city or anywhere and people were more friendly. This was before smart phones. But every person just has a bert stare on their face when they are alone.

Don't be apologizing for talking to people, makes you look like you're expecting something bad is gonna happen.

You're a weak little boy, that's why women don't like you. If you were a real man it would be different, but reading your posts, you're desperate. Women HATE desperate and dependable boys. There's no hope for someone with a weak effeminate mind like yours.

All the bad boys that get laid? They aren't desperate like you. They treat women like human beings, unlike you treating them like gods. Tours over. Just rot.
