Was at a concert last night and saw chad get rejected like 5x but most people were just staying to themselves or with their gf. Between sets like nobody was talking until they got drunk. But to think people get laid by approaching is insane. That was not happening and the cute girls there were not having it.

Like the other day I thought EOD was negative I was so positive about cold approaching until I got ignored rejected 13 times whilst looking good and had good approaches and then after that I felt negative worthless and defeated because nothing works.

I was at a club last night and only like 15 people were talking outside of their social circle. They seemed fuked up on stuff though. But like 170 of the 200 people were just kind of standing around keeping to themselves or their small social groups the entire time. So the idea that people just go out and make friends with randoms isn't true in my reality.

It sounds like you are expecting very specific results every time and it's probably not realistic. Try talking to people and not expecting anything. Your only goal is to say hello, start a conversation, and then end the conversation.

As I said, you have to stop caring about the results and view it as a game.

"Okay, <that> didn't work, maybe I'll try <this> next time." If you just keep doing the same thing over and over again and getting the same results, the problem is you, NOT everyone else.

Once you get out of school and your workplace is a dead-end, there's precious few opportunities to actually meet people.

By that age, most people have their own social circles, own group of friends, and/or married.

In other words, for most of us, we're fuked.

I wish there was some hope but i am 30 years old and nothing has changed since i turned 27. I'm not even talking about just getting girls or friends, i mean nothing is happening. There is no way to meet anyone.

It's hard for me to even get a conversation with anyone for more than 2 seconds that doesn't just involve netflix or their kids. And i cannot relate to people 10 years younger or older than me. I can't find anyone in my age range to talk to and i'm extremely depressed.

Been awhile since Ive been on the misc read this thread. Glad to see that its still going. Developed a minor case of autism reading through eod and peachys posts though. Glad we got some posters like Pondus and the married 40y/o brah who know what the fuk they're talking about ITT.

Cold approached a girl at the gym the other day and got rejected. Thought I saw some IOI's such as her eyeing me while shooting hoops a week prior(didn't make a move at that time), me walking in the gym and her walking out we exchange smiles and a few minutes later she's upstairs on the stretching mats facing the squat racks where I was, etc. I made a move after I finished squatting and deadlifting. Chatted for a bit, asked her to hang out sometime, and she says no. Im in sales so I have the mentality of "it takes 7 no's to get a yes" and made a joke out of it and asked again lol. Same result. On to the next one.

Men nowadays are terrified of rejection and walk in to a social situation with a defeatist mentality. Brb any average 6/10 girl has at least 1 Chad and 7 Timothys hitting her up at all times so no point to make a move. You need to get past the mind frame and develop a "fuk it" type attitude where rejection doesn't bother you. Too many men are outcome oriented whereas they should be input oriented. Worry about actually making a move, the things you say, how you say them, your mannerisms, etc and the outcome of getting a girls number/date/lay will fall into place when you have the inputs you can control mastered.
