You shouldnt be having kids putting the little twats at risk. Plus hearing a screaming baby/ Devil child for a 6-8 hour flight is hell in its self. No respect for other people. Take your ass home with your newborn and travel to kids theme parks.No. Bringing babies to an expensive restaurant or to a movie theater is wrong. Sometimes people have to travel. Bringing children on a flight is necessary sometimes. I don't have a problem with it, and I think that the people who do are just *******s.

Airplanes are just busses in the phuking sky.
I don't give a fuk what someone on a bus thinks, and you shouldn't either.

“Steroids is now just a word that the lazy and ignorant use to describe any guy that has more muscle and dedication than them”– Mike O'Hearn
"I am like getting the feeling of cumming in the gym; I'm getting the feeling of cumming at home; I'm getting the feeling of cumming backstage; when I pump up, when I pose out in front of 5000 people I get the same feeling, so I am cumming day and night. It's terrific, right? So you know, I am in heaven."

Everyone will be miserable.
The babies don't know how to deal with air pressure changes so they will most likely scream the entire flight as they suffer massive pressure headaches.
The people around you will think horrible things about you. Not just for making them miserable but also because you are doing horrible things to your poor kids ears by subjecting them to a plane flight like this. So not only do they think you are a bad inconsiderate person but they also think you are a sh*t parent.
You will have screaming kids in your lap for six hours and your wife will likely be losing her mind because she can't do anything to comfort her kids and they are in misery.
And thats how you start your vacation!
And because airplanes are basically germ boxes the chances your kids get sick on the vacation is high so instead of having fun you will trying to find a pediatrician in some exotic local.
That sounds fun too! Sick kids and a new doctor and a long wait in a waiting room.
Then when its all over you get to fly back another 6 hours where the kids scream and are miserable again.
I personally wouldn't take new borns on a "vacation" that involves air travel. Maybe to visit family if its the only way they can see them, but never on something so trivial as a vacation. Primarily because the main purpose of vacation is relax/have fun and no one will be relaxing/having fun on that trip. Not you or the wife r the babies or anyone else on that flight that you ruin for everyone.
Everyone I know that took babies on a vacation like this did it exactly once, and then after that they leave the babies with the grandparents when they go on vacation.

Also to the OP there is nothing special about people in business class and certainly no expectation of silence in comparison to anywhere else on the plane. I did the same thing and got first but on a shorter flight as I wanted us to have more room.
Question for all the people who think business/first class is some kind of exclusive high class area only. Do you think all those people who fly business/first on a regular basis are going to just buy economy tickets because they bring a child along with them one day?

That's low class, children should not be traveling before they're 3 years old. I feel bad for your kids, growing up with parents who will never put their children first.

When it comes your time to die, be not like those whose hearts are filled with the fear of death, so that when their time comes they weep and pray for a little more time to live their lives over again in a different way. Sing your death song and die like a hero going home.

I told a couple of friends about this, for some reason they got all weird about it, apparently they would be pissed if they had bought an expensive ticket and had to sit next to a baby (let alone 2).
I don't see what the big deal is myself, crying babies are just a part of life, and at the end of the day a plane is just public transport. I don't know if the other passengers will be upset but I imagine they just need to suck it up.
Am I in the wrong here?

Biggest problem was missing legroom.
You are right. Babies are part of life.
There will be people complaining. F*** em.

Exposure to sounds, other people, different situations, etc actually has well documented benefits for babies.
Did you turn out to be such an awkward sourpuss loser because you didn't leave the house until age 3?

Do you think kids under 3 years old have been quarantined away from "other people" at any point in human history? And do you honestly think that this is good for their development?

Enjoy your poverty vacation with your kids who won't even know what's happening. Gotta put your pleasure before your kid's safety, that's what your parents did, and that's why you're so successful.
