I don't mind cars. I actually know quite a bit because I have friends that are super into racing. I loathe driving though. I put about 4k miles total on my truck every year. Ride my bicycle everywhere for the most part.
hard to hate on a fellow wings fan but....


i need to cut... badly.

I like driving a decent reliable and comfortable car with a bit of power. I know whats what but I certainly not a car enthusiast. I like a nice high-end german car when I see it. BMW Ms and Audi RSs when I see em. I cannot stand ricers and the rice scene. I like cutting them off on the highway. Every now and then if I see a chitbox integra or some 90s era POS behind me, I like to give em a hard time on the highway. Slow down when ever possible, if they try to over take me I pick up the pace and don't let em pass. Simply be an ******* for fun. Intentionally accelerate on the red light with easy while the little civic is making all sort of noise and going no where.

The hoon scene is trashy and annoying. In Toronto where I live, these idiots tend to congregate in the suburbs at the parking lot of the crappy donut shop chain called Tim Hortons. They usually dress really bad too

I've seen chitty shops like valvoline screw up an oil change on friends' cars more than once. i had a friend get his oil plug cross treaded. most shops have knuckle heads who dgaf about your car. for all i know they could be putting in the wrong weight.

for that reason i do my own. it takes 30 min.

I know some of the basics when it comes to cars and can do maintenance on simple cars, I've even enjoyed testing driving some nice cars


other than that I don't really give af about cars, as long as its reliable and takes me from point A to point B and isn't a bottomless money pit. Like I aint gonna buy shiny new colored rims, mufflers, state of the art engines and all that chit. Seems like an expensive hobby but you do you. Probably couldn't even name you the best luxury cars or what the best engines and what not are, or even would have a puzzled look if you named me an old antique car.

Just have no interest in it, imagine being obsessed over material objects. I mean like I said do you but at the end of the day who gives a damn

I wish I lived somewhere I could walk/bike everywhere. I get tired of driving.

TBH a lot of the misc likes to brag that they drive 15 year old chitboxes, bought with cash, so it's not really surprising that they hate driving.


They're terrible 'investments' but nothing makes you smile like that feeling when its late, waze says no cops and the freeway is clear and you get to gun it up to triple digits.

i dont give a **** about normal / affordable cars but i cant help but stop and mire when a ferrari or a lambo passes by

That turbo spool and flutter from them is addicting. I have been hoping to find one a few years down the road or maybe a t type.

Why not a truck, a bike and a nice car too?

Ive had lots of bikes in the past and love them, but theyre dangerous as fuk and theyre not as fun to enjoy (because you cant share the experience with people). If you have a passenger on a bike, you bump helmets all the time and it handles horrible and its heavy. It can be fun if youre using wireless headsets to talk to each other though.

But cars are way safer, more comfortable, can enjoy them in all weather - can drift them around roundabouts etc.

I grew up working on my own cars and will do so as long as I'm physically able. But I don't give a chit about gear ratios, suspension stiffness, etc. Giving less chits about brand loyalty as I get older as well.

Yessir. Wanted to buy one a few years back but it fell through. Same with a silver/black Monte SS with a pretty stout 355. The owner was a border patrol agent and hit it coming out of a neighborhood. Accidentally did a donut lmao. Car was bad.

I've been tinkering with cars since I got out of high school. At this point the only thing I haven't rebuilt is a manual transmission, and looking to get an old truck to frame off restore and learn to do bodywork. I have a 79 K10 that I took down to a rolling chassis and put a different used but rust free body on it (don't really count that as bodywork lol) and painted it flat black since it was rebuilt to be used as a winter driver.

My other car is an LS3 swapped procharged G8 that put down 672whp, but currently demodding it and looking to sell it off to start another project.

I think this can be a relative hobby, you have lots of different scenes and tastes. I know some people just put gas in their car and go, some just go for show, and some want door slammers. Then there are the old and/or rich people that just wash their stuff, then crack a cold one and stare at it in their driveway lol. I personally don't judge people who aren't in the hobby, it can turn into a money pit real quick, things can break, people can burn you on work and/or parts, and is time consuming.

everyone needs a direction in life. for some people, the endless atmosphere of cars are where their mind and soul are. my first job was car related. you gain useful skills and knowledge that can be applied to different situations, you gain a way to occupy yourself, and probably discipline. like for me I'm not doing anything automotive related for my current job, but down the road all the stuff I'm doing can be applied for automotive and I think I see myself heading there again. if you don't like cars, chances are you don't know much about them technically, and you're the guy that dealerships love to rip off.

i actually dont care as much about the engine. unless i raced. even in a lambo isn't a bugatti faster? then you have the dudes that can throw 1,000 to 1,500 hp in a beater/ sleeper. i mean its nice to have a little pep

everything is nicer in a luxury car, from the turn signals, to the interior, the smoothness of the ride/ tranny, etc. everything is generally comprised of higher quality materials
