Yes, like me, she tried dating men in college but felt equally "meh" about it. That's a great question. I'm not sure. I think lesbians have a variety of interests but probably less interest in things like mainstream romantic comedies than straight women do, because they don't cater to us. My partner is not a BJJ professional. (That would be cool). She takes krav maga but is a beginner at it. Neither of us is good enough to defend ourselves, honestly. It is super important to me that we are both in good shape. I couldn't date someone who didn't care about keeping their body fit.

I think everyone needs instruction on what a sex partner likes. My girlfriend IS really good at oral sex and I think some of that is down to her practice on herself, but frankly, I needed instruction because I don't masturbate a hell of a lot. It's just not something that ever became a habit for me. So I knew less about how to vary the pressure and such when we started out. I will say that because we regularly go down on each other we kind of learn from what the other does to us. Like I'd feel the way she used her tongue on me, then copy it with her, with good results.
