Mercked my 2019 coues whitetail deer from 650 yards away yesterday, 7mm. was using my tripod to rest the front of the gun, no rest on the back. i just drifted the crosshairs onto him and let it rip.

Hell yeah, congrats!! I need to get my 7mm more dialed in for those longer ranges. I'm good from 300-400 but nothing beyond that.

If you’re good at 400, you’re good to 700 I bet. You could make a good ballistics chart with the data from 300 and 400 yards probably be good to a 1000 pretty easy.

friday couldnt hunt much due to weather. saturday we killed 2 small ones. sunday everyone was too hungover to hunt. monday i worked. tuesday killed this one. so killed 3 deer in 5 days but overall didnt hunt a whole lot

weather really limited my time to hunt. got about 15" of snow on wednesday and saturday another 20". nothing moving. oh well.

My SERT case showed up and it’s badass. Sorta a hybrid soft/hard case without lugging around a heavy hard case if you don’t need to for travel or something. Definitely getting more when they have sales.

Just traded in my G20 for a Glock G40. 10MM long slide. 6" barrel. MOS sight adapter.

Here it is with a G19 compact under it, and a G27 subcompact under that. Honestly the pic doesn't do it justice. If the Joker carried a Glock, it would be this one.

Sheesh. I'm not an expert on old guns, so been doing a little research on some of the guns that I have or will be inheriting. I don't sell guns, but some of these things are worth a little coin.

It's not the most valuable one, but I am particularly fond of the M1 Garand. Would not want to have to lug that around or do any kind of urban combat with that thing. Things so heavy you could use it as a club with similar effectiveness.

Cloud Defensive had their OWL light on sale for about $90 off. I thought the sale didn't end until EOD today but it ended last night, dammit I was gonna get one. That was a helluva deal on that light for only $260. Oh well, I will get it in the future.

Looks to be the best weapon mounted light (for non-handgun). Only downside is it isn't going to work with IR laser/illuminater, which I hopefully will be getting some Sentinel L3 binos within the next 6 months or so. Regardless, the OWL would be extremely good to have in the mean time and can always have it on other firearms. I'm sure Cloud will come up with a great option that is compatible with IR laser/illuminater.

It's still 'only' $277 which is of course for the absoluteunitof a completely integrated very smooth operating beast-light, a good charger, two good 18650 batteries, and a hard case for all of it

Granted there used to be a FREEATB code intended to get you a free ammo transport bag, something they normally charge $48...the ammo transport bag is very well made BTW.
