Just a way for people to garner attention that they wouldn't get otherwise

Just lmao at not being sponsored and being so serious. Just lmao

And I know it hurts because of your paltry negs. As if it would hurt me as an 08 miscer. *******. Just shows how right the OP is at calling out wannabe pro athletes who take themselves so seriously. Lol
You sound like an edgy teenager lol. "its not cool to try at things"

What are you good at? Its not lifting for strength or looks thats for sure

Would powerlifters be cooler if they were as weak as you? or as soft as you?

It's bad at my commercial gym.

Was benching other day and these 2 kids changed into their $200 powerlifting shoes to bench. Seems that most people these days want the perception they are big into lifting for social media purposes.
This is so true. I walk in with a water bottle, and either wrist wraps for bench days, and straps and fat gripz for deadlift days. That's it. I have squat shoes but never wear them. No belt. No bag or chalk or anything.

I'll see guys in knee sleeves, belt, compression pants, etc squatting 285x2 like their elite level powerlifters. I literally squatted for the second time in 6 months and did 225x20 in cushioned walking shoes.

Strength is strength. All that gear is fukking retarded unless you're an elite level powerlifter or training for an actual meet.

I went from loving the old school powerlifting culture, to hating it over the past couple years. Social media ruined it.

I've always thought if your gut sticks out further then your pecs, and your using a ridiculous amount of arch to reduce the ROM on your bench. Its fairly pathetic and unappealing to watch in the gym.

If your going to have a massive gut, you'd better have some medals/titles. Otherwise you're just another fat guy.

You are the only ******* ITT.

I guess I really hurt you with my post. Was it the headband, or the elbow sleeves?

No matter how cool and bad ass you think you are, no one likes you taking the rack for 2 hours. Nor do they like your chalk everywhere. And I'm sure the gay boys like your head band though.

Also, powerlifters are the biggest wastes of rack time in the gym. Of course I’m not training for maximum weights because this means nothing. And any fat guy will always be able to squat more and dead lift more with some training simply due to being heavier.
so if I wanted to squat 405 for working sets I should warmup with 315 away from the squat rack according to you?

everything else you said is just cope. nobody is saying train with maximum weights but anybody who is big and aesthetic at the very least is pushing some pretty serious weight. this is the life of a natty.

It still shouldn't take long unless you're lazy and trying to save your strength (powerlifting). Shawn Ray trained hard/heavy and took about a minute between sets.
