Got my Creed Aventus from Papillo. It has a higher pineapple note upon exposure to the skin. When it lingers a bit more you smell a more woody notes and also a bit peppery. Great for day time and not an overpowering smell. It projects quite a bit in the cold.
He also gave me some other small decants which I'm excited to try. Thanks my man!

Jubilation for Men Amouage- This is characterized as a sweet oriental scent. It's very fruity to me and Fragrantica noted it as having a basalmic scent to it. I just can't get over that top notes on it! I don't think I could wear it personally.
Creed Viking- A very clean, fresh smell. Maybe a bit "green" smell as people say. I frankly like this more than Green Irish Tweed which people say has a fresh/green smell. When it settles into your skin more citrusy/spicy scent to it. It seems to be versatile if you want a go-to fresh scent. Probably one of the safer fragrances I smelled.
Millesime Imperial- I mentioned this earlier in the thread. A very fresh smell. Definitely would be great for warmer climates. It has some citrusy/salty notes to me. I'd love to try this out in summer weather.
Creed Royal Oud- First few minutes of it on you you get a very woody scent. It initially reminded me of Tom Ford Oud Wood but not as woody, and that's a good thing. When the scent settles in more you get a faint hint of powder to it. I may wear it tomorrow to see how I like it for a day.
Creed Virgin Island Water- Coconut/Citrus. It's an interesting smell but it sort of reminds me of the loud shirt or accessory you bust out every now and then. Probably not for me unless but maybe I'd get it for one of my friends that lives in Miami or something lol.
Tom Ford Neroli Portofino- At first application it smells floral/powdery to me. This and Jubilation are probably the more unisex of the fragrances I tried which there are some I like. I think my girlfriend could wear this one better than me since the notes are more floral and powdery.
Those are my thoughts!
BTW the Aventus today lasted about 9 hours. I put two sprays on me and thought I put too little on. Later in the day it smelled really good. When it breaks down on me it gets to be more of a woody scent and it actually projects far better than I expected in the cold. Hope this helps someone else and thanks to my man Papillo!

Wearing Royal Oud today to try it out. It's a great fragrance. Woody, powdery, and a masculine smell. If I didn't already have a Fall/Winter smell in Tom Ford Noir Extreme I'd cop this. I will say though it isn't as 'sexy' as Noir Extreme but I mean that's why there's hundreds of fragrances on the market!
EDIT: been wearing it the past hour and it's getting more of a sweet smell to it, which is frankly kind of distracting to the rest of the smell for me at least.

So I mentioned that I got a bottle of Creed Aventus for 180$ shipped and was trying to figure out how I did that. Well after looking at my bottle I realized I have a 4oz bottle which after doing some research they did away with 4 and went towards 3.3 oz. So I guess I must have gotten extremely lucky because even at its cheapest (besides Europe) the 3.3 still goes for around $300. I believe I got it from a splitter off of a forum just can't remember which one.

Can't wait for it to get warmer so I can actually wear some cool chit. I wanted to get a red and black buffalo check flannel shirt the other day, but realized that I wear a coat 9/10 days cos it's fukkin cold outside, so I would never get to wear the flannel shirt.
I need to get a shearling/sherpa jacket for next winter so I can actually get some variety going. Getting real tired of the crewneck/henley/shirt + coat with scarf combo I've been rocking lately.

The jacket is from Sandro. Found it at their FL outlet.

Yep! A blue & black flannel shirt would probably work. I don't think there's a real way to make a red & black shirt to work with the type of overcoat that I have though. Poor people problems lol.
This sorta leads me into my next question. What kind of a warm jacket will get me the most bang for my buck, versatility wise? I need something that is at the very least as warm as a wool overcoat (preferably warmer as I need to be comfortable in like -10 Celsius/15 Fahrenheit), but less dressy. A shearling jacket would be perfect, but what other options are there? I was thinking a jeans sherpa, but I don't think those are warm enough for a proper winter jacket, and they look kinda dumb when you buttom them all the way up. Pls no parkas cos I'm sick and tired of those and literally everybody in Norway is wearing one when it's cold out. I basically want something in between a parkas and a pea coat when it comes to dressyness.

How tight are leather jackets supposed to be? Bought one on ebay for a good deal. 300 for a 850 msrp. The length and arm are perfect but the chest is a little too tight. Are they supposed to be line that?
Also I have a really nice leather jacket that cost 2200 from john varvatos but the sleeves are too long. Fit too tight.. can I get it tailored?

As for the tailoring, sure, it could be shortened, but it has to be done but people familiar with leather, and its not that cheap. This place takes mail in orders, so you could research them and see if you want to take a risk.
