Ok you *******s saying he should have tased her.

You only use a taser against a deadly weapons such a knife, scissors cutting instrument etc when you have DEADLY FORCE backup at ready. Tasers are not 100% effective and sometimes plain don't work. SO if you have a person coming at you with scissors and you tase them without deadly force backup. Ooopps they done stabbed you in the throat before you can draw your handgun, RIP in peace brah.

relax. he cop is very likely just following standard procedure on how to handle that situation.

it isnt his fault.

as i said before, there must be a better way of handling these scenarios that keeps the officer safe from danger first and foremost but also spares the lives of these crazed loonies.

I feel like he could have tazed or maced her and then cuffed her up. I would take the chance that a middle-aged lady isn't going to be able to kill me with a pair of scissors. Not like she had a machete. I'm not criticising the guy, that's obviously his training plus I wasn't there so whatever, just seems sad she caught two in the chest instead of getting locked up and maybe getting some help.

I’d imagine that certain things just don’t register in your head a mere 3 seconds after a possible near death experience and was forced to make a split second decision to shoot someone.
