Anybody reading keep in mind:

It's basically the same group of losers following me around claiming how MY life sucks.

Keep in mind THEY'RE following ME around.

(If you felt somebody was a loser would you dedicate your time to following them around over the internet? Me neither.)

Also realize that I said stuff that made them butthurt, over the internet to do so.

You do the math.

Wouldn't be surprised if his name was ACTUALLY Timmy and he just calls everyone else Timmy because he wishes their lives were switched.

Yes, that's what I've always thought. The reason I know is because they never want to get better. You can give them a million ideas on what they can do, or even just encourage them to think about how they can start feeling better and they eventually just get angry at you.

Depression becomes part of their identity and they end up feeling like they'd be lost without it, would no longer have excuses, etc. Hard working adults try to fix a problem as soon as it pops up, people who can't be assed to fix their chit life or chit attitude just hop on the depression bandwagon because that way they get to be lazy and even garner sympathy for it. Win win situation.

You'd think if you were sad all the time you'd be desperate to find relief and answers, but they never are.

People use depression as an excuse to be emo and people use anxiety because they don't want to deal with things. Depression can be different with different people. Often depressed people don't think they are depressed and will even deny and insist they are fine. Usually they believe they are as well too.

I have depression, although it doesn't seem like it to most people. It effects my motivation, not my mood. Sometimes I can push myself and get things done very well as an outlet, but things I need to get done where there is pressure, it's even harder. As far as "snapping out of it" yeah, it does help, but it's like running on a sprained ankle, yeah you can do it, but it's harder and hurts more, and you don't do as good of a job. I'm productive at work, but when I'm off of my depressions I'm really productive. Damn if I could only be like those days every day.

I should probably get treated, maybe some medicine, but I don't want to be one of those people that I'm good on my meds and can't handle life off of them. Plus, I'm a gun guy, don't want to risk getting red flagged because some douche who doesn't understand depression tries to go for my weapons. I'm not suicidal but if I did it would n't be a firearm. Secondly, I would never hurt someone else. Sometimes how I feel makes me more gentle to others because I understand that often the way people act on the surface is because of internal suffering.

Do you have a good diet?

I've learned diet can really mess with your head.

I feel like depression through my teens was largely because I was drinking massive amounts of milk.

Years later I learned I was lactose intolerant.

The question is not if its real or not, but if it is over diagnosed. What did people do before mind altering drugs or therapists, just lay down and die? Or did they survive. Nobody would argue that antidepressants are a HUGE market and doctors seem to give them away like candy, there certainly is profit in over-prescribing these drugs for every little problem people have. You can turn everything into a "condition" if you try hard enough.

I disagree with your first statement, but kind of agree with the rest. I’ve dealt with this my whole life, as have my mother and sister. Motivation is extremely hard, but it’s important. My sister on the other had will just lay in bed and let every little thing bother her. I can’t do that though. Even though it’s hard to force myself to do things, I do it anyway. Medication has made it easier though. I know a lot of people are hesitant to get on medication, but it can help for some.

Seriously if Timmy crew ITT make threads I don't care.

I don't concern myself with those losers is when we happen to be in the same thread.

I have them on ignore cause they try to ruin my threads every chance they get.

I honestly think it's because they're dull and have to piggyback on more charismatic people to try and steal their light.

That’s an interesting point. The same can be said about add medication as well. I have been on many anti depressants and they never worked, but am on a mood stabilizer now that seems to work. I’m not 100 percent but far better than I was. I suppose it comes down to the person and the medication, as well as if the diagnosis is correct.

Most people have to force themselves to do things, work is generally undesirable. If your sister had to pay for that bed or she would be sleeping on the street, would she be motivated to survive or would she basically be homeless?

Fortunately for her, she’s always had people to help her and her son out. I don’t know how she would function otherwise. I’m just saying you can either let your depression control you, or you can get up and do what you have to do.

Good points too.

^^^Racist police officer who also cries about how racism doesn't exist, also cries reverse racism and typifies the stupidity of the racist right, referring to black people as "they" and regurgitating racist stereotypes.

It's quite easy because it's hilarious. Hilarious things are memorable.

I wouldn't be surprised if it raises test, maybe even works better the older the both of you are.
