With all the news not long ago with mass shootings, I would bank more on people panicking rather than ignoring someone screaming 'gun'; maybe it's a CA thing but it usually leads to panic.

Not needed here but most people are woefully ignorant. Never had anyone take a second look at my badge either lol, could probably just buy a cheap one on ebay and get the same results.

Yeah, my brother got one easily, even with a criminal record (few non-violent misdemeanors). Some counties are harder than others though.

You never know when it will change. My mom had TSA pre a long time before my dad ever got around to getting it, and for quite awhile it was basically the same thing. Then it started being like 50/50 and even I think a few in a row he didn't get the random pre, so finally got it himself...so worth it considering that literally one time of long security lines can save you as much time as it took to get the pre.

We signed the whole family up for Global Entry. The main driver was when my wife was doing some work-related travel to Asia/Indonesia and she had some near-misses for flights dealing with the whole customs side of things coming back (nearly missing connecting flights back to Denver from places like San Fran, LA, Houston, etc). But that program has the TSA pre included and then you get a much faster experience getting through customs on the US side.

Costs something like $85 per person and then you have to go through the whole background check and interview process (had to drive out to the airport for that). But it has been well worth it. If you do any global travel at all, it's a benefit. If you don't, then I would highly recommend TSA pre.

pretty much zero either way, sent it to the police station who will proceed to send it to destruction or ask a judge for it to be used by officers.

Interesting. This might really be worth it for me. I need to check it out and see if it's helpful with crossing the borders in my car, because I do go to Canada from time to time. I know there is a NEXUS line.

USPS literally sends me a text and an email at 4 PM saying my signature required package will be delivered today.

But you know they are full of ****. Was here this afternoon waiting, was scheduled for today.

Probably going to try to deliver it three times while I'm gone in following days now.

This is one of my top first world problems. While you're working, and out from home, they try to deliver it and need a signature. Where in the world does that make sense? Then, after a few days of missing you, you have to come pick it up and some random post office.

Had to do that for UPS when i ordered my scope. Had i known it would be such a PITA, would have just kept it at the post office/shipping center 20 min away and picked it up in the first place

I also have a UPS box. It's like a PO box but a little better because it's a private business so they can accept a delivery from any and every carrier as far as I know. Somebody can sign for it during any business hours, and then I can go in and pick it up...except they are closed on Sundays and close at 6:30 on weekdays and 4 on Sat...but still...I should just get anything signature required sent there I suppose. Then I don't have to worry about when it will be delivered.

This one will probably end up being tomorrow and I'll be gone

speaking of blue eyes, new girl at the gym has like weird light blue purple dyed hair, skinny as fuk yet someone muscular.was wearing a belly shirt and leggings with holes in them everywhere. looked borderline strungout/ druggy. I was hngging so hard... Very harley quinn looking. anyway she started asking me questions about the gym. I fukin wasnt even paying attention to what she was saying because I was imagining her choking me to death with a crazy look on her face, hnnngggggg!!!!!!!!

i agree man, although in the case of this DPMS i put some more thought into it and i feel that building more Aero M5s would probably be a better idea because DPMS is owned by remington and their QC is garbage. its too bad because i really like the way these 16" oracles look. they were supposedly good quality too but im still apprehensive.


this has a pretty nice look to it though, plus i can order more spare parts for the other M5s i built last year

Know those feels of can't decide. BUT, i don't think suppressors will be touched/talked about up and coming in the election unless coincidentally a shooting happens where one is used. (knock on wood)

My LGS i like going to has a silencerco kiosk, though. So at least that makes things a little easier.
