Lee priest hands down! Big as fuk for being so short and he placed better than people who were twice his height. Great conditioning too and shreds everywhere!

Lee is a funny guy. Been on his IG live stream over the past 2 days and he has me laughing my ass off. But, it's the actual truth.

btw, unpopular opinion, but I think Arnies physique was overrated. chest and biceps massively overpowered his delts which looked really small in comparison especially from the side, short lower torso which only showed 4 abs

his mass was incredibly impressive for the era, but physique wasn't balanced enough to be considered most aesthetic

agree BUT(and for whatever reason the hardest core arnie fanboys don't agree with this) his size was so well beyond everyone else in the early 70's that it made him untouchable. People pretend like he wasn't this absolute freak monster beast creature when he was on stage next to everyone else

"i like bodybuilders that look more natural like arnold did" (ive read **** like this across multiple forums)
"arnold was perfect because he wasn't that big"

it's been 50 years and someone at this size could walk into any gym on the planet and have people in disbelief a human is this big

so not my favorite physique from a balance standpoint but I'll never say I don't appreciate arnolds physique

I’ll go with Zane. He didn’t look freakishly huge and his build looked almost attainable.

not a fan of his physique but i watch dorian blood and guts highlights on youtube all the time.

many people feel that dorian ruined bodybuilding by bringing in the "mass monster" era.

Yeah I’ve heard that as well. Don’t think he has the best physique either. I just like the way he trained. His back development was sick and his new content on the hippie spiritual stuff is cool. BTW...Arizona bro? I lived in AZ for a few years

Bob Paris is up there for me too.

Also I'm bias because they were the first bodybuilders I followed, but Ronnie and Jay. Lots of fond memories getting into bodybuilding while watching those guys in the early to mid 2000's

jay cutler may be the most underrated bodybuilder of all time. i know he had his wins and all but if ronnie wasnt there he probably would have won more olympias than anyone.

Dexter Jackson. He is going to go down as one of the best bodybuilders ever. His record for pro wins may never be beaten. Despite his genetic shortcomings dude has been active forever in the sport. At 50 years old he's still in shape. He's still jacked. And he's still competitive on a pro stage or even the Olympia. Also his posing routine is extremely smooth. (No homo) His experience is evident.

Not the biggest. Not the strongest. Not the most hardcore. Only 1 Mr O win and when the competition wasn't as stiff. But the dude has been consistent. Just extreme aesthetics. I think if I could have a physique like any IFBB pro it would be Dexter.

dexter is a bad ass and im not sure what you mean by genetics short comings, yeah hes short but he has about the best bodybuilding genetics ever. inserts of the gods, perfect proportion, his longevity alone proves hes a genetic freak. and 1 O the one year the competition wasnt as tough other than that he was competing against the biggest and best bodybuilders of all time.

He has extreme aesthetics but due to his size and the era we are in he gets over-shadowed by the bigger guys. You can still argue that the guy has been a top 6 bodybuilder, in the world, for longer then anyone else though.

Sean Ray at 210 pounds had a very complete package and Bob Paris was bigger than he looked in pics.
It is a tie.

Even back in the early 2000s I definitely preferred Dexter's look over the other guys at that time.

Anyhow, I don't know. Serge Nubret is always the first one that comes to mind as far as "the physique I would most like to have" - although I'm sure there have been plenty of others that I would probably prefer to have if I flipped through an encyclopedia of bodybuilders.
