There is a reason why Taiwan and other Asian countries like Singapore are still sitting at fewer cases than many American states. In the age of big data, this could have been prevented and small businesses and the economy would not have been suffering to this extent.

The real number of cases is easily double to quadruple what is being reported and would drop the true death rate of coronavirus to 0.3 - 0.6%.

A major problem is hospitals just don't have enough respirators for the infected. ofc the misc lacks empathy for the PEOPLE who are consciously choking to death in their own lung fluid. What a sheit way to go...

Either way, this is a form of population control. Why would the elites not want this?

Classic "if it doesn't affect me then it is irrelevant" view point there bro.
Would you also agree to a survival of the fittest, Purge type scenario being in place? if so then your point makes some sense, at least from your perspective, if not really think about your attitude.
Please don't neg me. We all gonna make it.
PS from a article today:
Fr. Giuseppe Berardelli, has died from the coronavirus. He refused a ventilator, saying it should rather be given to someone younger than him. He was 72 years old, from Bergamo.
You reckon true heroes like this guy would be happy to know he dead trying to save young people with your attitude?

What a stupid argument this is. If an alien race came to our planet and started killing 100 people a day, do you think people would say
"Hey man the flu kills way more people than these aliens are! Why wreck our entire economy and do every thing we can to stop them! Makes no sense!"
Or would we expect our government and people in authority to fight back and attempt to stop people from dying?

Do you not understand exponential growth?
Its simple.......doubling of total cases/deaths every few days = Millions of deaths within a few months

How many layoffs have there been vs coronavirus cases?
- The coronavirus crisis is likely to result in layoffs on a scale that the U.S. has never seen before.
- Economists expect April to be the first reporting month when the damage starts to show up.
- Forecasts for that month range from 500,000 to 5 million.
- The worst month during the financial crisis saw nonfarm payrolls decrease by 800,000.
- Weekly jobless claims numbers are expected to be so bad that the White House has reportedly asked state officials to delay releasing precise counts.

Honestly I think I already had it but the symptoms were so mild I hardly even notice. Just LOL at destroying the global economy over this. Strongest overreaction ever.
Current CNN insanity death tracker of the covid: 500 over the last 30 days? 16 per day?
Also in unreported news, 155 people just in the US died from the flu today.
So far the flu is 10x more deadly. Must be the same experts who warn of us global warming.

Don't you have anyone who is a high-risk person, someone among parents, grandparents, families and friends?
Death toll is not just number, behind those numbers there are always real people and their family's sorrow.
So please keep your emotion in check.

As of now, it's about which path will do the least damage
Trump did say: "We cannot let the cure be worse than the problem itself."
If most people were financially stable, this wouldn't be an issue. But it is.
Imagine having a baby on the way, two kids, and you just got laid off and stuck with a mortgage along with loans and bills.

It seems like there are two groups of people who get defensive about flattening the curve: "the it's just a flu crew" and "those who died were going to die anyways crew". Not that Western culture has ever valued the elderly anyways, so no surprise.
https://www.cdc.gov/mmwr/volumes/69/wr/mm6912e2.htm
Among 44 cases with known outcome, 15 (34%) deaths were reported among adults aged ≥85 years, 20 (46%) among adults aged 65–84 years, and nine (20%) among adults aged 20–64 years. Case-fatality percentages increased with increasing age, from no deaths reported among persons aged ≤19 years to highest percentages (10%–27%) among adults aged ≥85 years (Table) (Figure 2).

Are we going to count the people that die from hunger or at robberys from necesity or whatever as COVID deaths too? Wonder whats going to be worse srs, the virus itself or the attempt to slow it down
"The flowers bloom, then wither... The stars shine and one day become extinct. This earth, the sun, the galaxies and even the big universe, someday will be destroyed. Compared with that, the human life is only a blink, just a little time. In that short time - people are born, laugh, cry, fight, are injured, feel joy, sadness, hate someone, love someone. All in just a moment. And then, are embraced by the eternal sleep called death."

China has a population of 1.4 Billion people. 10 days without a new case in Wuhan, where it all started. And 4 days without a new case in the whole of China.
China and even Wuhan have returned to normal life.
This has an overpowered and excess response by the establishment.

It’s amazing how you are into fringe ideas but actually trust the CCP. The same government that openly jails and kills those who oppose anything that goes against their backwards ideology. Go on twitter and see the truth lmao. A couple days ago there was a tweet of a video that surfaced of a covid-19 carrying elderly couple who were found dead in their apartment. I’ll gladly edit this post with the video, tomorrow.

Because they are authority doesnt mean they are correct. They are epidemiologists and scientists, not economists and sociologists, nor the president who makes the ultimate decisions based on all elements involved, not just 1 element.
Their job is to describe the problem, the leaders come up with the solutions.
And they are commies at the CDC and The Who as well. USA is a unique problem because Capitalism doesnt sleep like communism does. we have to keep things going or else collapse unlike commies who have no empires and can just be a cuck all month.

Filled by people with extreme student debt, who couldn't possibly overcome it due to no upward mobilization. This QE bull**** only accelerated this total market bubble. It took only ONE week of job displacement to crash all of Trump's gains in office. LOL, strong greatest economy in the world. Whether it was the corona virus, or something else. The market was waiting for an excuse to crash. Let it burn. So now, we can re-bail out the the companies who will in turn pay their executive bonuses, lay off half their company, and not help the individual in any tangible way whatsoever. These people will again be slaves to their debt, giving more power to the corporations. Who truly run the government. Well that and the central banks. You literally had United Airlines say today if they don't get a bailout mass layoffs are coming. This isn't capitalism. Until we can find a way to get money and corporations out of politics this cycle will just continue to happen over and over. And the "We need to make money crew" "Got bills crew" "Got mortgage payments and was establishing a career crew" "Got mouths to feed crew"
We care about the elderly, absolutely.
But the people who are supporting 'social isolation forever' seems to be 'Yo I'm financially stable and single all y'all should be inside already quit being poor crew"
- The coronavirus crisis is likely to result in layoffs on a scale that the U.S. has never seen before.
- Economists expect April to be the first reporting month when the damage starts to show up.
- Forecasts for that month range from 500,000 to 5 million.
That's a lot bro. Millions. And growing. 78% of Americans are living paycheck to paycheck

China has a population of 1.4 Billion people. 10 days without a new case in Wuhan, where it all started. And 4 days without a new case in the whole of China.
China and even Wuhan have returned to normal life.
This has an overpowered and excess response by the establishment.
