Long time no see, homie!!!!

Scoop up a speed rope from amazon prime if you have it. I just picked up Rogue's Speed rope, because I figure I can trust the brand. I usually just use the ropes in my gym, but I'm not going to be able to hit my boxing gym for a hot minute. Same with BJJ.

Where are you located, if you don't mind me asking?

I'm an NY brah, but not an NYC brah. We haven't gotten so stringent yet, but it looks like we may be soon.

THIS is the moment that separates the men from the boys.

I've seen so many "serious" lifters using the corona excuse to be sedentary and give in on their goals.

Take this as an opportunity. Surpass them all.

Agreed. Got a nice home gym setup that doesn't take up too much space. Sort of mentally preparing myself for a apocalypse scenario where you would have to eat primarily animal foods for survival, so finally trying a carnivore diet and honestly surprised how good i feel with low carbs, gaining strength and looking leaner.

For real. The amount of crying and excuse making I'm seeing on social media is hilarious. Just lol when the time comes to reveal yourself. Especially with summer coming up.

Gains and cuts will be that much more prominent now with that tan. Blessing in disguise.

Nah bruh, don't be the enemy of your own progress! Set your routine, build your schedule, and stick with it!!! Make this quarantine worth your while, and find some time to do something to improve your life every day!

I'm trying my best to be around more (and now that I'm working from home it's nice to be able to do this more often). Definitely encourage you to pick up that rope, and hit the cardio! Mirin' that you've got a weight set.

I should have done that a long time ago, but I just haven't.

Have always wanted a weighted vest but I don't want to shell out $299 for a 100lb vest.

fuark, been lifting 7 days a week. I've always had a home gym though. I only have a squat rack and bench and pull up bar but I make it work. Seeing some good gains so far during this time "off". tbh I was already lifting a ton before all this happening due to being on bulk mode since the end of Jan when I got better from getting really sick with chinese virus type symptoms lol.

Squat rack, bench and pull up bar = more than enough. You're gonna make it. Mirin 7 days a week but throw in a rest day too to reward your body for enduring all that punishment

Truth. I workout 7x a week because at least every other week something comes up... Kid gets sick, get busy, long night at work, etc. Cause me to miss the gym. But I listen to my body. If I feel like **** I'll rest usually.

Currently on week three of Smolov Jr for bench.. Stoked for my session tonight! Doing that 4 days a week and between each day I'm hitting basically everything else (Squat, Rows, OHP, pull ups, isolations).

Being meaning to bring up my pull ups for a while. The time is now
A young bull and an old bull were standing atop a hill looking at a bunch of heifers in a field below.

The young bull says "Let's run down this hill and fuk one of those heifers."

The old bull replies "No. Let's walk down there, and fuk them all."

Phuck brahs, even though not having the gym is depressing, I'm still making some serious calisthenic gains. Finally learned how to do a pistol squat. And I'm very close to finally being able to do a one handed pull-up, one handed push-up, and one handed standing abwheel rollout. Das it brahs

Sounds great to hear. Improvise, hang some 35 or 45 Lb plates on a strong belt you might have and have at it! Back in 2015 I made a weighed belt using a strong thick belt and a chain used to attach on cars and it worked like a charm. Or a backpack

Also can't wait for the jump rope to come in, gotta vary my cardio runs/jump rope. Stay safe NY brah I hear it's crazy over there

Lmao that's a mad good idea but the strongest belt I have is also my favorite and I've had it for a decade.too sentimental to ruin; it's some awesome leather.

But a backpack, now that I can do.

Just got my rope today, and have hit my second training session of the day. Ran through 30 minutes of hard rope. Hit some shadow boxing last night. Will probably start alternating shadow boxing and rope daily until I am back in shape to hit rope for 30+ minutes and then shadow box in the same session. Trying to do at least 45 minutes of cardio daily. But will up that next week.

Also shrekt legs today.

And have been doing OMAD, but drinking protein shakes instead of other meals so as to hit macros.

Mirin the power levels of energy in this thread. I had some back pain last week (tradie life) but after some stretches and rest I'm on point again. Got some equipment to tide me over, but thinking of buying a dip and pull up rack to up my home game.
