It isn't just the corporate bailouts that are insane; the bailout package includes $75,000,000.00 for PBS & NPR. That is the kind of nonsense they stuffed in there. State-funded propaganda gets 75 mil but each of us gets $1200? The government is not our friend.

lol@over half of our countries adults living paycheck to paycheck like some 18 year old teen who got kicked out by their parents with zero valuable skills. We clearly still havent learned our lesson from the 2008 debacle caused almost entirely by people being reckless with their finances and over spending. They deserve to reap what they sow

Just put a 3 month pause on debt repayments for US citizens and small businesses, if thats not enough....tough chit

Finance 101 says have a minimum of 3 months expenses saved in case you're fired/laid off, really it should be 6 months.

I do feel for all the grocery brahs having to deal with this, they really didnt sign up for this and hopefully will be compensated for all the chit they're dealing with. At least people in the medical professions understand they'll be coming in contact with many sickly people

I wont get it, but if I did it would either go into stonks or to my parents, who I give money to regularly anyway.....My housing/utilities are paid for by the company and I paid cash for a car when I got here and I'm still working every day.

A couple buddies that will get it have said they are going to buy guns, another said hes going to remodel their bathroom.
