I for sure would avoid PSA if you want it quick, yes. Mid-length is preferable, but carbine gas isn't a knockout by any stretch.

Most AR15 style rifles are carbine gas. A properly designed/constructed/assembled 16" carbine gas can still easily be extremely reliable. This is definitely not the time to GAF if it's carbine or mid or extended mid length gas. Just get one, complete, the better manufacturer the better (not psa, not anderson, etc)

Kinda off topic but I finally found 9mm locally after calling daily lol. I used a link posted itt earlier last week and had ordered some as well but ofc it hasn't shipped yet

Picked up a Glock 45 last week too. First firearm. Always wanted to get into it and finally pulled the trigger. feelsgoodmane

Grabagun is warning customers of a 7-10 day processing time, so I was pretty surprised to see my fedex tracking shows a delivery of tomorrow (just ordered two days ago.)
buuuut state of Maine just basically ordered every non essential business close for 14 days. Hoping my ffl is considered essential...

Some states have additional requirements needing more human processing. Some FFLs are not on file with them, etc. It really depends on the state.

Sorry brah, newbs like me clogging up supply chain. Basspro must be buried in orders so bad they can't get shipments out.

New FL resident. Transferring my license over from Cali where we practically needed a background check and a cavity search to buy a super soaker. Want to buy an AR (and take shooting lessons) but now everything is closed and all the best shops are seemingly sold out of the guns worth buying.

Step 1, get your residency established. (Driver's license) Until you've got a FL license no one is selling you anything anyway.


Do you have a budget? Are you just looking for the cheapest reasonably priced AR or can you pay for improvements? The market on feature-rich but affordably priced ARs has just gotten obliterated, but online pricing for most of the "duty" level ARs are not moving yet, even though availability is slow.

That...is a pretty good deal. Geissele pooped the bed naming their LE duty and duty rifle so similarly, I finally checked the specs on the duty rifle there and it really is worth $1,250 isn't it.

Nitride match grade barrel in 223 wylde, mid length plus gas, Super 42 H2, ambi safety, SSA-E, 15" MK8 m-lok rail...very nice.

I mean it's not a super duty, flash hider is basic A2, charging handle is basic mil spec, 'only' has SSA-E not the X version, no B5, no REBCG with C158+...but this regular Duty Rifle price tag is not much more than a super duty at the black friday price

Apparently if you live close to a PSA brick and mortar location you can get some smoking deals. Saw a guy who got a lower with top end magpul furniture and the enhanced trigger for 130 and an upper with an FN barrel and Geiselle rail cerekoted in fde for 120 this past Saturday
