Quarantine is boring. Still chuggin' along. One good thing is my boss told me I'm getting a bonus on my next check because of my job performance...so that was pretty freaking awesome to hear. I know I'm damn lucky that I'm in the position I am in. So, I'm am extremely thankful. Plus, business is good...so that is another advantage. Strange to think people are buying saunas during the pandemic...usually, I wouldn't give people that much credit. Color me shocked.
Good to see that you're hanging in there. It's a damn jungle out there...

Well, Cali is still doing pretty well considering all things. 40 million people here and 19k have tested positive with 168k tested. Had a spike of 1500 new cases yesterday after seeing a couple days of down numbers.
Prayers to all. Stay safe.

I bought my first guns a few weeks ago. I posted a pic of my new Taurus on IG last night. My wife's side of the family was giving me some flak. It's bananas the reactions from Brits/Euros whenever they see a gun. They now have this irrational fear for my wife's safety. They see this thing as a murder death kill machine. Insane.

Wow 1500 in one day is crazy.
Today in my state it was the lowest spike all week. Hopefully the quarantine is working.~ In a world where you can be anything, be kind ~

Sat out by the fire last night and drank a bottle of wine. After that, I thought it would be a good idea to have a dram of single malt scotch. That put me over the edge. Good thing I'm working from home today. I feel like chit, lol.
Also tried to PIITB last night during drunken sexors. We weren't that drunk because it was unsuccessful.

When I pulled off the old one and started reading the directions, one of the first things they say to do is make sure your garage door is "balanced". Meaning the torsion springs are adjusted correctly. Well, mine aren't, and the door wants to close under its own weight.
I went ahead with the install thinking that the new opener would have enough power to pull it open. After 2 evenings working on the damn thing, I get to where I set the limits and the opener will only open the door 1/2 way. Damn.
So, now I have to find some 1/2" diameter rods (they call them a winding tool) to tighten the torsion springs.

I had a torsion spring break last year. So i ordered a new pair and it came with those rods you speak of. Wasnt too bad of a process either.
