I think the guidelines that came out today work very well with this general idea.

It was to flatten the curve. It's already been a month. Already, a full month behind us.

We don't need full capacity dine in restaurants yet. Or full capacity movie theaters. Or amusement parks. Or crowds of spectators at sportsball.

But we need to be able to go to Best Buy, to Home Depot, to Lowes, Walmart to buy coloring books (WTF that this is a thing that isn't allowed some places?!?!), etc...keep your distance, don't touch stuff you don't have to, wear PPE if you have it, etc

Have to say Trump is a master troll to make the Governors take responsibility for the opening of their States. I was wondering what the hell he was thinking saying he had total authority. He hasn't said a word about it since and has let the Governors own it.

He says he has total authority. He instead, graciously, gives a greater deal of power to the states rather than the federal government, which is a republican ideal.

True. Likely China is being set up as a punching bag to deflect from poor leadership. The question probably won't be resolved, but if hammering them over this helps us decouple I'm for it. We should be careful in getting carried away with jingoism though, it's more important to hold our own leaders accountable-as that's what really affects us.

Articles like this, with no sources, or with their best source being a vague anti-china statement direct from Trump with no facts...probably put out there to help nudge people onto the Trump side of the Trump/WHO (which is really Trump/China) spat.
