Find another word, because I'm tired of the misuse of the word cope by people who don't understand what it means:
Cope:
"(of a person) deal effectively with something difficult."

Most incels are not coping with their issues, they're rationalizing them and justifying them in their own head.

Coping is the right word, whether its hooker, drugs, video games, sports, the gym, incels need to find things to cope with the pain.

So it all boils down to the idea that a person can't be happy without other people making him or her happy? No happiness is possible from within? Without dependence on external circumstances?

Yes, this is the reality of biology and psychology. If it was easy to be happy without pus**y it would be a threat to our existence.

Sex is on the very bottom of maslows hierarchy of needs with things like food and water. That isn't an accident.

Well people have lived without sex. It might not be IDEAL, but everybody deals with something, usually multiple things that arent ideal. If you get older and have some chronic pain or health issue, no you can't turn off the need to be completely pain free but it doesnt mean its not possible for you to enjoy your life.

You're never going to have everything you want. You're going to have to deal with not having things the way you want them at some point, if thats all it takes to make you miserable...then you're on the road to misery my friend.

Wrong.

Incels have no life experience, so first time a woman gives them any attention they are handing over their entire net worth to some used up gold digger.

Also relationships > money. Not just talking romantic ones either incels tend to be lonely basement dwellers.

spending your entire life without sex or relationships is not just "oh thats life". Sex is on the very bottom of maslows hierarchy of needs for a reason. It is a need.

It is as important for mental health as food and water is for physical health. I feel like some of you act like its NBD, but it's literally impossible to be happy in life when you cant fulfill one of our most basic and strongest needs.

All you can do is cope.

It is absolutely not:

Cope:
"(of a person) deal with something difficult."

The operative word is effectively. Effectively dealing with something difficult would be finding the solution, working toward improving the conditions of it, and working toward real changes in mentality/mental states. Hookers, drugs, video games, watching sports, are all escapes. Going to the gym is closer to an effective way of dealing with your issues, but tends to be the only thing that incels do that is even close to effectively dealing with their problems. Even then, the gym becomes another escape for most of these brahs and any real lessons that could have been learned get thrown out the window when you make it an escape.

Hiding from the pain, or trying to put your mind off of the pain is not effectively dealing with pain.
Drinking away the pain is not effectively dealing with your pain.
Fukking hookers to fill a void is not effectively dealing with your pain.

Imagine telling a good friend who is dealing with a major depressive episode "Drink a handle of vodka until you don't feel sad anymore!" Fukkin jesus dude, great advice.

Here's a man who lived alone in a cabin in Alaska for 20+ years;

Here's a woman who's lived alone in the wilderness for 70 years;

There are more, many many more examples I can post. Now all of these people seem, at least outwardly, to be reasonably happy. They are not just living without friends or lovers, they are living COMPLETELY without human society of any kind.

I know many average people with friends, wives, and social circles who seem much more miserable than these people....explanation?

Yes effectively. Every day an incel manages to not blow his head off is effective coping. I don't care what it takes, if its alcohol or drugs or games or whatever.

You don't have the slightest clue wtf you are talking about. you're a good looking white guy, wtf do you know about life as an incel

I believe there is a max limit of happiness that can be reached alone. If you follow your dreams and find success, but not companionship, you probably cap out at about 65% happiness. Enough to get by, but not enough to ignore those lonely feelings when they creep up. I don't just mean women either. Incels tend to not have guy friends either. They're very lonely people.

If somebody contemplates suicide to the point that they are living day by day, they need psychiatric evaluation, not drugs, alcohol or video games. And that is what you should advise them to seek, not drugs, alcohol or video games, butmental help.Trying to "cope" by using drugs or alcohol never leads to anything positive.

Incel is becoming the norm because of online dating, social media and cultural marxism/feminism isolating and feminizing men

Any truth will just get censored or the narrative will get switched

Neg me all you want, its the truth. I'm an actual incel and I go through this every day so I think my opinion is more valid than yours here.

Yes it is a mental health issue. Sex is on the bottom the maslows hierarchy of needs, because of its impact on mental health. You cannot be happy as a lifetime incel, period. All you can do is cope to get through it.

I get it, but not sure my experiences jive with those ideas. I know so many people who are alone with nobody, maybe a handful of friends...nobody to share their lives and while some are miserable, some seem happy. Likewise I know alot of married people and people in relationships that are miserable [ and vice versa ].

I think people say Hermits are crazy because they don't understand how or why somebody could live alone, maybe because they bought into the idea that you need other people to be happy? IDK, but in each of those videos [ and many others] the hermits seem articulate, happy, and pretty passionate about what they are doing.

I'm just not sure the real life examples of people being alone matches the theory that you need other people to achieve happiness. Its really a matter of empirical evidence....there they are, refuting your argument by their smiling existence.

the need for friendship, companionship, relationships, family are the most intrinsic needs of humans outside of food and water

humans are social creatures, being solitary is a psychological threat to existence

what good is a nice house without a wife and kids to make it a home?

what good is a yacht without friends on it, it's just an lonely piece of metal

That's a different issue entirely.

There is a difference between voluntary celibacy and hermitry and believing you have an unfixable problem.

In fact, anybody who believes they have a problem so severe that they absolutely cannot endure their own life should seek counseling (I suppose that's why marraige counseling exists). However, it's the exact opposite end of the spectrum. I would hazard to let you know that most self-proclaimed incels I have met have all expressed extreme frustration with their circumstances.By very merit of deciding not to live in the confines of society and accepting the fact that you will not have sex as a result, you become a volcel... Something you do by choice.

Having a say in a matter, or at least believing that the decision was made by your own design vastly changes the way you perceive the issue.

Most people I've met that consider themselves "hermits" are quite delighted with their decisions. Granted, I've met far less "hermits" than I've met incels. So I suppose my anecdotal experience with those of us who have chosen to live outside of the confines of society are quite limited to positive interactions where most of my interactions with self-proclaimed incels are quite negative.

What exactly do you expect the psychiatric evaluation to uncover as a solution? "Oh, you desire human connection, let us hook you up with some Seroquel to correct that"

I don't doubt those hermit are happy. What I would say is that they are exceptions to the rule. How many people do you know, including yourself, that you think would be happy living in isolation for 20 years? I mean, there's youtube vids of a chick trying to be a horse. I'm sure that chit makes her ecstatic, but she's a rare exception.

Again, not saying you can't be happy without other, but a HUGE chunk of our happiness comes from positive interactions with others. Even solo hobbies are more fun when you have a forum of people to share experiences with about it. I mean, imagine if every single thing you did that you thought was cool was only observable by you forever. Imagine hitting a 3 plate bench for the first time and having no one to share your joy with. Now apply that to anything you do. Would kinda suck after a while.

Yes, this makes sense. So, do you think the incel at least has the opportunity to own his situation, accept it and rise to a level of contentment? Or, at that moment, the moment he decides to exercise control over his circumstance is he no longer an incel?

Short of therapy, nothing will ever fix you. May whatever god you believe in have mercy on your soul.
you can't "fix" this because its human nature. Any man deprived of sex for their entire life will be depressed. All you can do is COPE
