"Note: Provisional death counts are based on death certificate data received and coded by the National Center for Health Statistics as of May 19, 2020. Death counts are delayed and may differ from other published sources (see Technical Notes). Counts will be updated periodically. Additional information will be added to this site as available."
And yet that very source shows weeks with 30% more deaths than expected
Look at the numbers. Several of those weeks, the increase in total deaths, over expected, exceeds the so-far reported covid numbers.
That link literally indicates covid deaths are under reported

Decreased detection just means there are fewer particles.
If you drop 50 footballs on a football field at once from the 50 yard line, guess what, theres going to be a strong concentration of footballs at the 50 yard line, and almost none once you reach the 40 and 30 yard line.
But take someone slowly walking around the football field placing footballs eveyrwhere they walk, theres going to be footballs all over the damn thing, just not as many in one spot.
I would rather be in a Grocery store where 2 people cough in 2 different spots then those 2 people coughing and slowly dropping droplets all over everywhere they walk in the store. My odds of crossing those 2 spots are less than crossing somewhere else they walked with "less concentration" even though its less risk of inhaling the particles in those locations.

We detected coronavirus in respiratory droplets and aerosols in 3 of 10 (30%) and 4 of 10 (40%) of the samples collected without face masks, respectively, but did not detect any virus in respiratory droplets or aerosols collected from participants wearing face masks
Also, viral load matters. Reduction in virus shedding is helpful. Putting fewer viruses out there, or breathing in fewer viruses, is a good thing

The cure (Lock down = Economic depression = Massive unemployment, bankruptcies, starvation, divorces, economic depression, increase in crime, possible conflict etc), must not be worse than the virus.
I am only for closing if all the folks demanding closure vacate their salaries (politicians and experts)... until then, fire it up.

The total deaths exceeding recent average/expected by a number greater than covid is not susceptible to bias. That is black and white.
Do you have an explanation for why total deaths are greater than average/expected + official covid?
What are the extra/missing deaths attributed to?
And if you think covid is under reported, that just means even more unexplained deaths. I mean I guess it makes total sense these extra above average unexplained deaths just happened to coincide with a global pandemic totally unrelated though...lol

n95 fitted face masks, or surgical face masks?
Also whats your opinion on the fact that the VAST majority of people dying are elderly, and over 70 at that.
Should young people have to not go to the gym, stores, work, school etc... because of that? Countrywide lockdown for an illness that has a VERY low mortality rate in young individuals?

So long as retards insist that masks make things worse, it's going to stayed locked down, because you're too ****ing stupid to open with reasonable mitigation measures (like masks) in place.
That's...kind of one of the problems here. The more you insist on stupid ass **** like masks not helping, the more they're just going to say "fine then, everything is staying closed"

I believe the reason why these are being cases are being over-reported is that if the individual that passes from another complication but was positive for covid19 at the time of death, it is considered as a death by covid19. Covid19 for many individuals are MILD and asymptomatic. There are many cases where this has been proven true.

No, the second wave won't hit right away. It takes 1-2 weeks to show symptoms and the number of carriers right now is low, so itll probably take like 6-8 weeks to show, but when it does, it's gonna suck.

you do understand that YOU can have COVID and unknowingly spread it to others who may be more susceptible to complications? you understand what that means right?
you do understand that even if you do not die from COVID, studies have shown that it can cause irreversible damage in the lungs of healthy young individuals?
you are worse than the normal ignorant people who just go along like sheep. you chose to spew misinformation because it has disrupted your life. when you or someone you infect due to your nonchalant attitude have irreversible lung damage will you still feel the same way? or 10 years from now when you need an inhaler everytime you hit the gym will it have been worth it?
open with precautions is what most reasonable people are saying. you are just saying OPEN OPEN OPEN MASKS ARE BAD and make yourself sound like an idiot.

Average/expected deaths + official covid deaths = a numbersmaller than actual deaths
Do you understand what that means?
The official covid numbers are too small to explain what is actually happening. What that indicates, is under reported covid deaths. Not over. Under.

1) Average age of covid deaths matches average age of deaths in the US--citing an "expert" that claims there are years left on their lives is hilarious by any measure and an indicator that you cannot think for yourself
2) Saying Covid-19 deaths are under reported while ignoring the fact its infection numbers are not extrapolated like the flu in light of fact 1 is insanity
3) Stanford studies have proven much larger portions of the population have covid-19 than we think, and that was last month...
4) its possible we killed more people by quarantine in nursing homes than we would have by not quarantining since >80% of deaths are in nursing homes
These factors stack together to pretty much fist any possibility that there's some hidden danger from covid19 lurking around the corner

you do understand that YOU can have COVID and unknowingly spread it to others who may be more susceptible to complications? you understand what that means right?
you do understand that even if you do not die from COVID, studies have shown that it can cause irreversible damage in the lungs of healthy young individuals?
you are worse than the normal ignorant people who just go along like sheep. you chose to spew misinformation because it has disrupted your life. when you or someone you infect due to your nonchalant attitude have irreversible lung damage will you still feel the same way? or 10 years from now when you need an inhaler everytime you hit the gym will it have been worth it?
open with precautions is what most reasonable people are saying. you are just saying OPEN OPEN OPEN MASKS ARE BAD and make yourself sound like an idiot.

I am not arguing wearing a mask just because.
I am saying there has been some evidence some doctors have shown that it can be more dangerous to cause more spread by wearing a mask.
What happens to the person walking through droplets who inhales them into their mask?

These factors stack together to pretty much fist any possibility that there's some hidden danger from covid19 lurking around the corner

Some people i know had flu like symptoms in January, went to the hospital, and got sent home.
There are tons of these stories.
If this virus has been here since January(even December), then this would be extremely widespread at this point, since this is a "very contagious" virus. Right?

Average/expected deaths + official covid deaths = a numbersmaller than actual deaths
Do you understand what that means?
The official covid numbers are too small to explain what is actually happening. What that indicates, is under reported covid deaths. Not over. Under.

If you make the majority of the population stay locked up in their homes death rates will plummet across the board. Suicides might increase or at the least remain as normal. Death of natural causes should remain as normal. Or maybe even decrease slightly. But in general death stats will decrease.
It doesn't mean a bunch of people are dying of Covid and people are concealing those numbers. If you really want to remain safe and healthy just stay in your house for the rest of your life. You'll dramatically decrease your chances of dying in a car crash, plane crash, from a drive by shooting/mugging, etc.
