But let's set aside our emotional interpretation right now. Set aside whether you agree with the events leading up to this. Let's set aside the specific cause. Let's just examine what is happening.

From a philosophical perspective, I can't help but wonder if this is what happens when citizens use the rights implied by the Second Amendment.
A well regulated militia, being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed.
What's the point of a militia if not to act against a government that has overstepped? I know I'll get flamed and I know people can't respond to this from a philosophical perspective, but I think it's an interesting thought experiment. Obviously this would extend to other causes (white nationalism, religious extremism, etc.), but it begs the question of what is "enough" for a people/militia to take action against a government - and is it an exercise of an implicit right guaranteed by the Constitution?

Fella I've lived in the city, in the hood for half a year, and worked in the city, take public transit.. for years and years. I've seen a lot I've been around.
I know to avoid being around blacks in this climate cause I look how I do. Can't tell you how many times I've had a black try to pick something with me, especially after the election. But I've met a lot of good ones too. And even the thug type, there's a reason. No hate from me, it's what it is. That's how it works in prisons, it's just a reality that people identify by race and proceed from there. Don't have to hate to know the reality. But at the end of the day we're human
