Still not much to report, parts still slowly trickling in. Clutch is still showing in transit, wastegate is the same. Fuel rail and injectors are still 2 months out, manifold is 3rd in line at fabricators. Pistons will be made by mid July

Fender braces coming from Egypt just cleared customs

Whiteline adjustable swaybar
AGM battery
Valve spring c clamp
And Gspec aluminum water pump pulley

Slowly but surely

So I originally planned on a g25-660 but I asked for a refund after studying the comp maps a bit more and comparing them to similar turbos on the market.

I ended up ordering a bigger G30-770

With the supporting mods and a good manifold it will make 500whp before 7k and have full boost by 35-3700.

The big trick is to find a turbo that matches the efficiency islands on the compressor maps to what works with your engine.

That is why I got the shrouds. Any fan will work twice as well with a proper shroud made up. Even before I had two mishi fans on a NX2000 OEM radiator and never overheated once in Sacramento heat waves sitting in traffic. With a proper radiator and shroud and oil cooler setup I'll have zero issues

My friend who builds crazy Porches for a living mods an Infinity G20. Literally building the world's first SR25. 2.5 liter SR with a sequential K series transmission. Custom sleeves, custom crank, everything. His car has air Jack's, and even had the rotor hats CNC machined in aluminum to shave weight

I have a shroud on mine as well, still the temp creeps high with that junk fan. My buddy has a TT mustang with more piping in the bay than i have and two different size SPAL fans. He says the smaller one rarely turns on. Im putting the SPAL in my car at the moment, i do not doubt it will fix my issues.

Fuel rail is coming in early tomorrow.

I also ordered a propane camping stove, some degreaser and a steel trash can to build my own ghetto hot tank setup for the block and cylinder head.

Then when I'm done I'll have a stove for camping and a trash can for the garage.

Also cleaned up the valves. The seat area was still good so I didn't need to order new ones thankfully. Drill, rubber hose, WD40 and some green scotchbrite worked wonders.

Fuel rail came in today. Thing is extremely high quality. Couldn't find a single burr, divot, cnc mark, knick...nothing

Fuel injector adapters fit perfect and are a cool green color as well.

Still not much going on. I had to reorder my pistons so they are about 2 weeks out right now.

Decided to make my own ghetto hot tank setup with a track can, degreaser and a camping burner and it worked like a charm.

Also got this fuel damper which keeps fuel pressure pulsatio down which is a good thing

Still not much to report. I have most of the parts to start the engine build except the pistons and intake manifold.

My Q45 Throttle body showed up today

As well as finally tracked down a set of JDM market headlights I've been looking for for years.

So about the pistons. I've been dealing with this chit ass company for a refund for about 6 weeks, I recently made a FB account just for getting car parts and made a review in one of the very large pages. I had already been blocked by the company earlier as well.

Within 10 minutes their page had been flooded with hundreds of comments about how they need to give me a refund or my parts or they were going to fuk his dad etc.

Their email magically started working again and I got a refund as well as a threat to go to court for slander lmao. Not one thing I posted there was untrue and I backed everything up with screenshots

Pistons finally came in so I'm pretty stoked.

These even inside look different than any forging that I've seen, almost no machining done with whatever new forging process they patented.

Those wrist pins are over twice as thick as my old set.

Headlights will be here Thursday and my Momo steering wheel will be here friday

Momo mod steering wheel came in, NRG quick release will be here Monday.

Extended lug studs will be here Tuesday

Headlights got caught in customs not sure what the deal is with that, had to fill out 3 pages of DOT and customs paperwork just to clear a pair of headlights

NRG quick release came in today, the short hub should also be coming in the mail as well.

Its just another layer of security to keep it out of someone else's hands.

Also picked up some extended studs. I usually run ARP but I saw these for a 240sx on OfferUp for like 35 bucks shipped.

Figured if they end up being chit no love lost and I'll go back to ARP. But 35 vs 170 ish I'll try em out.

Also ordered a set of Titanium lug nuts, these have a 2-3 week lead time and was kind of a splurge purchase I didn't plan on.

Well decided to drop a massive amount on a six speed conversion kit. This will include everything except the hubs which I already have.

Bellhousing conversion
Tranny
HLSD
Billet shifter
Mazworx mount kit
Gspec conversion flywheel
FX500 clutch
Hydro pedal conversion
Shifter cables
Clutch masters Hydro Throw out bearing
Axles

Guy ended up parting out a 700hp car so I ended up saving like 12-1500 on piecing a kit together

Chit finally came through. I was starting to piece together everything for the six speed swap when everything kind of fell in my lap for a complete setup.

To piece the setup over time would be close to 3500-4k and I ended getting a complete plug n play setup for 1400 that has only been ran 8 or 9 passes at the track before the guy decided to go AWD.

This includes the
gspec conversion flywheel
Mazworx mounts
Discontinued bellhousing conversion
Six speed transmission
Shifter cables
FX500 clutch and all the other chit I'll need.

Since I personally hate the stock spec V shifter I bought a kit to use this K Tuned Billet shifter on my car.

Never figured I'd be buying a 400 dollar shifter yet here I am.

Still zero progress on any portion of the build as the main bolts are STILL in transit from Nissan Japan.

Irregardless I'm torn on whether I'll assemble the motor myself or send it to the machine shop I use. I've been working 6 days sometimes Sundays as well with no end in sight

Fuel rail setup is complete. I swapped our the Aeromotive regulator for a Radium that mounts directly to the rail, much cleaner install. Injectors made it from Germany and I ordered the spacers to mount them as well.

Completely stripped the interior out to remove the sound deadening. Total weight loss of 57 lbs.
I have 50 sq ft of Kollosus damper to replace it at 25 lbs. So quieter car and lost 25 pounds.

Billet 2JR short shifter

Carpet was TRASHED. It had floor mats completely covering it and gnarly stuff under the passenger seat. I have some brand new carpet coming in end of the week.
