-Sexual sides (testicular atrophy, brb young guy with low sperm count or sexual sides and dealing with pct crap and **** just to please your girl). This one is controllable i guess but still a risk
-Makes you age faster. Brb great body but face looks 5-10 years older. Would much rather look like an athletic and fit young guy than an incredibly ripped boomer

A 5’10 175 lb toned twink isnt going to have the same power in that space as a 6’4 275 lb guy.

It’s 2020, hit the Instagram explore button. Not a single 17% bf will be seen that day

Pushing the limits of what your body can handle is one thing, but lifting with health/longevity mind is a whole other ballgame.

All the guys i know that use/have used, they honestly look like bloated muscular frogs. Super low doses, healthy diet, lots of cardio, then i guess yeah you could get away with it, but its hard to tell.
Also if the reaper is going after you at 50 mph, the second you even smell that little bottle, the reaper will activate the nitro like vin diesel on FF1, doesnt matter what **** you take to counter it.
"The flowers bloom, then wither... The stars shine and one day become extinct. This earth, the sun, the galaxies and even the big universe, someday will be destroyed. Compared with that, the human life is only a blink, just a little time. In that short time - people are born, laugh, cry, fight, are injured, feel joy, sadness, hate someone, love someone. All in just a moment. And then, are embraced by the eternal sleep called death."

That’s another thing about genetics in bodybuilding. The most important genetic trait is being able to withstand lots of drugs and respond to them well
I know no one irl who uses, but from what I’ve seen, it seems like low doses aren’t going to turn you into a frog. It’s the 500+ base doses along with other special tech that does that

Cons of gear from talking to friends, knowing guys on gear, homework, etc...: mental ups/downs, physical ups/downs, always needing bloodwork so not to get clots, Yes a slave to the needle. Many have said "Once you feel like Superman, who wants to feel like Clark Kent?"
Possibilities and most likely having test issues for the rest of your life, poor heart health later in life along with liver and other organs.
Having to either live a lie for the rest of your life or come out and admit it, risking who-knows-what.
At 51, as much as I wanted to earlier, I'm glad I never did. I enjoy competing in a natty organization and I wouldn't be able to if I had.
I bust my ass in the gym and with my diet. For now I'll ride my nattiness as long as I can.
Who knows; when I'm done competing and my natty levels drop....???

The whole “Superman” thing is what really makes me not want to do it. I don’t know how well I would handle the come down. Probably not well.

I'm in my early 30s, considered the same thing. Assuming only conservative use of mild and relatively safe substances:
Pros:
No need for weekly meds(for most, at least until 50s)
Able to still look better than 90% of the population
Don't need to worry about sides
Easy to stay on top of your health with a yearly checkup
Maintaining fertility if you want kids
Cons:
Without good genetics and strict diet/routine you will probably just look okay
Can't stay lean year round and build size
Can't gain more than a couple pounds a year after a few years of consistent training with everything on point
Your levels will slowly fall the rest of your life until you need to take the plunge anyway
Libido slowly falls over time
Gonna lose hair anyway if in your genes
Never able to leave humanity behind

Pros: Wolff's law, better cardiovascular response to stress of all categories, you can gain bone mass up until age 35~, higher test levels, etc.
Cons: Really none. Injecting test even for TRT increases your risk for cancer / stroke / heart attack.

That's what we do in this ****, brah.

There are no cons to lifting for me. It makes me feel good physically and mentally, it's a daily challenge that provides me with a sense of fulfilment and accomplishment, the lifestyle is overall really healthy and consistent. It's also satisfying to see people my age that are aging really poorly and still have no idea how to get themselves in shape. It's really pathetic actually. It's very rewarding on my end overall.
On second thought, I guess one con is that some people will choose to treat you differently because they know you lift or because you look like you do. I've gotten those snide, sardonic, and snarky comments from some people, mostly women I went to school with. But it doesn't matter because they were all losers. Yes, forgive me for not jamming brownies and cookies down my throat day in, day out. Please, keep telling me what dietary changesIshould be making. Good luck with your diabeetus goals of a few years down the road.

Pro's of natty lifting:
-You get to tell everyone your natty.
-If you are lazy about monitoring your heath you may remain healthier then non-natties.
-You don't run the risk of getting too big and muscley and gross.
-Balls hang lower.
Cons of natty lifting:
-You have to work harder, for longer and be more meticulous about diet to achieve the same results.
-Unless you have elite genetics you'll never really look that good. No matter how many years you train and how dedicated you are.
-If you get injured, stop lifting, or can't be as consistent you lose gains faster and take longer to get them back.
-Sometimes you might have to tell people you lift weights. Because they won't be able to tell.
The majority of miscers don't know anything about being enhanced and are basically idiots parroting non-lifting misconceptions/lies. Brb just because someone leaves natty status behind they are automatically going to be 250lb lean stage ready bodybuilders that abuse a massive quantity of substances, lose their hair, are infertile, etc.
The simple truth is in 2020 you can use legal enhancements to achieve your desired physique and if you are smart about it be healthier and more up to date on your health then 'natural' lifters.

I didn't read the thread. But for me personally, I'd have to say the ability to put on more sculpted muscle mass and build strength with LESS frequency and less weight. In other words, I don't have to practice my absolute max numbers to build lean hard mass OR full-capacity strength. After years of hard training, work capacity (volume and effort) can do the job with less frequency IF the moderate rep-range weight I'm lifting is heavy enough. This helps to prevent potential joint or tendon issues, or exacerbate preexisting ones.
But in a nutshell, that's been the key for me- consistently hitting good numbers relative to my body weight. Pushing past plateaus becomes tougher, but that's a very empowering/rewarding element when you accomplish it...especially WITHOUT A DROP OF HELP from PREVIOUS years of lifting and conditioning!!!!!! I know it's all me, and I have the right to take pride in that fact!!! Especially because people see me IRL and think I compete in bodybuilding. Now, if only the gyms would open back up!

Anyone can improve any skill, but the question always remains, to what degree? A person dosen't need to get up on stage or become pro to have the "right" genetics for lifting, INHO and IME. Competing is a choice!

Best advantage of staying natty is that you don’t deflate like a ****ing week old party balloon when you come off

I loved them anyway, because they felt secure enough to be very upfront and honest with me from the get-go!!!Deflating like a balloon can be avoided. Yes you’ll lose some but not all, and your muscle cells will be changed permanently for the future to be able to get bigger
It helps when you know them personally (very much so!!!)! You can have a similar warm and genuine personality that allows you to get along great with them or to train with them!!! And the best part was the fact that they (some of the guys too) respected my natural abilities and accomplishments!!! It's something I'll always appreciate!! They know how grueling it can be.
Fact: My first-generation uncle was a boxer who fought Sugar Ray Robinson! He also fought in the war, sacrificing the career he deeply loved, so people could have the right to freedom.
Let's show RESPECT for the POLICE and ALL FIRST RESPONDERS by helping to keep THEM SAFE AND SOUND, and thereby able to PROTECT US!

fukking with your endocrine system is never a good idea. it's very basic high time preference behavior. you make huge long-term sacrifices in your health, appearance, life, in order to experience short term pleasure of being jacked with test through the roof.
you can be natty with a strong, beautiful, muscular body. if you want more than that, you're kind of gay imo, and acting like a dumbass by injecting hormones into your sacred body.

There are no cons to lifting at any age so long as you're using good form and weight you can handle.
