Well sure, land is valued very differently in the United States than Germany. New Jersey itself is like 7% of the landmass of your entire country. 4 of our states are individually larger. Our population density is 6.6x lower.

In short, we have a lot more land and New Jersey is not a desirable place to live.

Class segregation is crazy strong in NJ. Ridgewood is minutes away from Paterson, and those towns are legit 2 different planes of existence.

Newark is great place. Your friend made a great purchase. I know of another great investment opportunity in a town called Compton. Pay no attention to the haters hating. Compton is all cleaned up and on the rise and you'd be a fool not to buy there right now. Pm me if you want more details
