Now, my friend Andrej lives in the States and he just bought a house in New Jersey. I can't believe the prices over there, the apartments are EXTREMELY CHEAP and houses / land cost next to nothing.
He loves it, says the air is fresh, the water clean, and his sons are playing in the grass just like back home in Israel.
So why is it that New Jersey is so cheap when it comes to apartments and houses?

In short, we have a lot more land and New Jersey is not a desirable place to live.

Newark is a ****hole and it is not cheap to live here. Property taxes blow.

For those who don't know, Newark is a complete ghetto ****hole. Except for the airport which is really nice. OP is trolling.

And 185k doesn't equal 200k.
Also, why do you care about green squares so much?

Newark is great place. Your friend made a great purchase. I know of another great investment opportunity in a town called Compton. Pay no attention to the haters hating. Compton is all cleaned up and on the rise and you'd be a fool not to buy there right now. Pm me if you want more details
