Understandably they will not discuss which person made the claim, and consider it closed. I asked if there would be any type of penalties for the person who made a fraudulent claim and they said they weren't at liberty to discuss anything further. So even if something did happen I wouldn't know about it, and would basically be a slap on the wrist. I think I know who it was, but since I can't be sure I'm going to be as reserved as possible around the building. I was never really friends with my coworkers, but I tried to keep things cordial and light.

After the meeting I spoke to the HR supervisor "D" for few minutes and she assured me that I wont have anything on my file that should effect upward or outward mobility moving forward. I just don't want anyone making inquiries into my character and some bullchit situation fuk with my chit.

Lesson learned brahs...Never again.
Glad nothing happened and you didn’t have to grovel for forgiveness (**** that)

I once got talked to by my manager for making fun of a fellow employees alma mater after they lost a sporting event full on srs. It sucks because you basically have to go to work with your butt cheeks clinched and immediately become reserved when conversation gets funny or veers into politics, gender, etc

For this reason I don’t have any work friends. Don’t get me wrong, people like me and I’ll do happy hours with coworkers, occasionally go to bars, do sports teams, etc. but hang out like I do with my real friends (who behave like miscers)? Hell no.

Googled it and apparently it's made of leftover pieces of heat shielding from the Space Shuttle program. Unconfirmed NASA sources claim that it's the single material on the planet that can handle the heat build-up from all the friction.

That's exactly how it made me feel. I would see threads around here, stick my head in the sand and say "nope, not my company.". But it is...It is my company, and it sucks that I wont be able to talk shop, but I have to look out for me. If they're lucky the Christmas party will be the next time they see me at a social event.

They probably did this for their own entertainment. They would find it enjoyable to see you down on your knees, struggling.

You should never forget this.

You could turn the other cheek. When you find out who did it, distance yourself from them.

Or, you could get your justice and wait for them to slip up...

This is my biggest fear lmao

I use the misc and GroupMe app both on my work computer. If they see that I’m on those sites doubt they care “oh a bodybuilding site who gives a ****” but if they read 1% of my posts that tour is over

Imagine living a life where something like what you said gets under your skin to the point you need to sit down and talk to someone about it and jeopardize another persons wellbeing. Truly unbelievable. Don’t envy that person

You should’ve requested a two week notice right there and quit.

Great outcome all things considered. I would've wanted to go nuclear and "call my lawyer" if **** went left
