Lol, no. I've seen lots of them, but they generally won't bother you.

I went to Palau once to look for a murder weapon that had been tossed over the side of a boat in the middle of the ocean, and had a run in with a curious shark, though. It all worked out good in the end, but was somewhat unsettling at the time.

I also gave up on disposing of an underwater mine once because a hammerhead shark had become sentimentally attached to it and wouldn't leave, hahaha.

Fuk no. I’ll take a chlorinated and well lit pool or hot tub over that at night any day. As far as natural water, hot springs/onsens are acceptable, as long as there aren’t any weird critters lurking around in them.

I've done it dozens of times and it's pretty cool. I've only done it in the tropics so water was warm and nice and i didn't have to worry about big sharks. Would recommend/10

What do you mean by tropics? Are you talking Columbia, Puerto Rico, etc.? I'm trying to do this some day.
