The are some racist undertones when Gandalf comes back as Gandalf the White. Implying that his whiteness is superior to grey. Post your own racialism in movies.

Yes it was. The orcs were systematically killed because of racism , their off spring should get reparations.

And don’t get me started on Gandolf. I’m surprised he didn’t come back with a white hooded cloak.

No and yes. The author didn't care about race but was a monarchist. Someone ruling you because of birth (monarchy) isn't that far off from judging individuals by birth (racism).

It's a psyop perpetuated by white supremacists. You are only meant to realize it on a subconscious level. Gandalf the Grey is an inferior wizard, prone to smoking the pipe and setting off fireworks. Gandalf the White however is presented as a god-like figure who uses his beam of whiteness on those less privileged.

I remember some of my coworkers at the place I was interning at a while back had a whole conversation about it. The Native American and Mexican were up in arms about how racist it was. Especially the Orks with the hand print on their faces which is symbolic of Native Americans.
