The people posting that liberals are mentally deranged are themselves just as brainwashed and stupid. They see only what they want to and ignore the rest. The far right has religious extreme crazies, the KKK, science deniers and anti-vaccine retards

With that said, the far left has an influence that conservatives just dont have. They have Hollywood, academia, the media(to an extent as we do have plenty of conservative media). They can wield this to attack people who disagree with them and censor dissenting voices. I have no problem with Twitter banning someone who is outwardly racist, but to ban someone for saying it does not make you transpohic to not date trans people, that becomes a huge problem.

Most reasonable, rational, and intelligent people understand naunce and are moderates. They realize that neither side is perfect and weigh out the pros and cons. Considering OP asked such a loaded question to get his world view validated, id say nothing anyone can say would change peoples minds.

Conservatives have Christianity, liberals have politics. Both will believe whatever they want regardless of facts. However where it gets interesting is younger conservatives aren't as religious and younger liberals tend to be more extreme in their political ideology.

That's not accurate. Conservatives have their old religions, the liberals are secular. Both sides can and will be involved in politics.

Leftists seem to be the ones who are in favor of censoring dissenting opinions and other fascist activities, while projecting onto others the label of fascist.

Liberal values have always been freedom and liberty with a huge emphasis on free speech. So I'd definitely not say leftists = liberals, personally. Leftists seem to be rather regressive and seemingly now more in favor of segregation whereas liberals value a cohesive society where nobody is silenced and we share ideals. Ordinarily if Trump wasn't president, they'd probably see each other as opposites.
