Tbh I know lots of people who make panhandlers "earn" their money. I worked hard for this $3.50 a little dance doesn't hurt anyone and its entertaining. But 6$ for a backflip is stingy af...at least a good 20 would have sufficed.

This guy laughed for 10 straight minutes and didn't think to check up on him after not moving for TEN minutes. Don't cities have that Seinfeld law now where if a person needs medical help they have to call the ambulance?

I don't understand this perspective, it's baffling to me. I don't understand how a brah can watch this and not feel empathy for the homeless brah.
1) If you've ever spoken to somebody who is homeless, you'd know that people often try to pretend they don't exist. Mere acknowledgment that they are there, and that they exist is something most people don't even give them.
2) Most homeless people do not have money, and $6 for you may be very different for a homeless person. That $6 combined with the acknoledgmentand the ability to actually be of significance in somebody's life, if only for a momentmight mean the world to a homeless person. The fact that he could have provided a smile to somebody, and perhaps made them laugh for a few moments could have made him feel an importance that he would not normally get. If you've learned anything from the misc over these last few years, you'd know that loneliness is a hell of an emotion, and many miscers are currently reeling from it. The things miscers do for love, affection, and attention should let you know exactly why the homeless guy did what he did.
It's saddening and while I do not agree that criminal charges are warranted, it's hard not to want to see that brah have to face some sort of repercussion for exploiting those who are less fortunate for laughs.

Lawfully I’m not sure the guy should be charged. I would say the fact he has to live with what he’s done will be his punishment but something tells me this guy will never be bothered or feel shame.
I can’t judge what’s in his heart but this is why I hate social media. Most of us have made bad judgment calls as kids/young adults and social media amplifies them even more so these days.

This body holding me, be my reminder here that I am not alone.

What a massive kunt. Not only that but he laughed for like ten minutes straight, fuking deranged...
How dare you!
Don't let yourself get attached to anything you are not willing to walk out on in 30 seconds flat if you feel the heat around the corner.

And I'm not the killing type. But I know you have seen the eyes of some people (often mugshots) and you just know that they are predators or too broken to fix and a danger to the rest of society.

But you can certainly hope they make him do community service or some chit. Or maybe they ask him to volunteer with a program that allows him to make a real impact on the lives of homeless people. Just something to help him have the empathy he is clearly lacking.
What he did was fukked up, but we don't know if he'd have done it if he had known what the end result would be.
