And I believe that some are getting demolished, not repaired; Google Earth is a hell of a thing (watch @ 1:30 to 1:50)There're a lot of news outlets that reported on said leaked manual;I'll link one, but you can choose your favorite news agency and watch their report on it; they're all essentially reporting the same information. Again the goal is to delegitimize China, they don't give a sh!t about those muslims

My only issue is withhowthe Chinese government are going about achieving their goal, I believe there are better ways to do this. The problems with education and security in the region are exactly what the CCP is trying to solve. The vast majority of uyghurs in the region cannot speak Mandarin (or even any chinese dialect). How do you expect to receive a decent education when you can't speak the language of the country you live in? Through these education camps, the Chinese government prioritizes the acquisition of Chinese language skills and a skilled trade that the uyghur citizens can then use to secure stable employment with.
The issue with security and violence in the region is a result of China's failure to assimilate the uyghurs in the past. This is what the CCP is currently trying to remedy. You have to understand the history of Central Asia; Take a look at other nations in the region, like Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan. Before they were absorbed into the soviet union, the people were illiterate, uneducated, and prone to extremism. Through the Soviet Union's reeducation efforts (which is what China currently bases their model off of), they completely transformed the region. All of the former soviet countries in central asia today are secular, highly educated, safe nations.
Trying to distort China's efforts to assimilate ethnic minorities into "concentration camps" and claiming they're "worse than guantanamo" is laughable.

And how do you think the Chinese government should go about handling this? What would you like to see done differently? There's been no evidence of any sort of mass mistreatment of uyghurs in these camps. Keep in mind that the quality of life in most rural Chinese villages isn't all that glamorous. Many of the people in these education camps are living much better than their peers.
Again, what do you think the Chinese government is doing wrong here? Right now, it just sounds like you're criticizing China just for the sake of criticizing China, like all the other brainwashed posters ITT.

All I did was ask how we know you aren't a CCP shill and you got offended lol, it was not even an accusation. Look at this way, if Redditors were this skeptical they wouldn't have fallen for that.

- Wow, you bemoan ppl for not listening to your "story", and when faced with a video depicting the leaked CCP manual of abuse, no sand is too deep to bury your head in.
- Not to mention that the abuse stories in the video alignexactlywith the stories real Uighurs are telling. Whatever the Chinese government is doing, it's obviously not doing a good enough job of suppressing these stories in its own country; cause I try to mind my own business, don't go out looking for those stories (I have my own life to live) and don't even speak Chinese, yet I still hear these stories from Chinese Uighur I meet; am I encountering too many CIA operatives? So get your propaganda story straight please
- And you go on to call me and every single person exceptin yourself "brainwashed"; as a general rule, not a good sign
- On a side note; don't talk about brainwashing again, you know full well what the Chinese education system does.
strong self-awareness
strong glass house
strong ostrich tactics
strong logic earns you a neg. Just what are you doing, m8?
I really hope none of you nor your family members ever have to go through those internment brainwashing camps or the complementary abuse.

CIA lying to make China look bad and China doing horrible things are not mutually exclusive concepts.

You realize that's the reason why the majority of them don't speak Chinese right? Because they were allowed to run their own Uighur language schools that taught absolutely no Mandarin, well into early 2000s, which ultimately led to regionalism and separatism.

She did multiple AMAs under different accounts too.
Cliffs:
-Woman posts thread on reddit claiming to be a uyghur who survived Chinese concentration camps
-Gets called out within hours for lying
-Edits OP and literally writes "I am not a CIA agent" lmao
-OP is outed as a CIA consultant/former fed who worked at Guantanamo under the Bush administration
-Doubles down and claims that prisoners at Guantanamo were treated better than the average uyghur living in Xinjiang. LMAO
LOL @ retards who still believe this lie and guzzle down every bit of western propaganda thrown at them.

Anyone who has ever been to an Asian prison and an American one will tell you they'd rather commit suicide then go back. Chinese prisons are essentially concentration camps. The CCP loves silencing dissidents, like their good doctor who spoke out about the Chinese Flu, or the many people who try to speak freely about something they don't like but get thrown in prison.
The Reddit dude may be lying about personal experience, but China is not a kind country nor is it free of concentration camps.

China, they've never colonized a foreign country. What they have done, is try to unite their own people. IE tried to unite Vietnam, but the American'ts butted in, like dopey heads who don't know what they doing.
