What he did deserves prison. But let's look at this logically. Prosecutor went and charged him with something they really couldn't convict on from the get go all because of feels. What he did does not fit the statute they're charging him with. Secondly, the autopsy is looking more and more like it was accurate and he didn't die from asphyxiation. Third, he absolutely without a doubt has an argument for not getting a fair trial in Minneapolis, so if they refuse to change venue, could shoot themselves in the foot. And fourth, now with the extended body can being released, he was already in medical distress, proving the autopsy correct.

There is a very real chance he gets acquitted and almost 100% that the other officers are acquitted.

If that happens, keep your powder dry.

Official cause of death was from a heart attack along with police restraint and neck compression.

Autopsy indicates heart condition and drugs but no trauma to neck/throat.

He had 3 times the average OD level of fetanyl in his blood at the time of arrest and one of the symptoms of fetanyl od is feeling like you can't breath. Is that not true?

Also, he didn't die right away. He died three days later, correct?

The knee most likely didnt do anything. The failure to aid after unconscious while in their custody is the crime. Should be an easy manslaughter conviction but hey you know...politics.

People are forgetting a heart attack doesnt alway happen due to drugs or underlying conditions.

Your neck has the brachial artery, block this and your heart will receive no blood and thus creating a heart attack by definition (no blood going to the heart)

Besides the guy was a scumbag with multiple complaints. Its about time something is done about police brutality, most of these guys have no proper training unlike the military with rules of engagement.

If you are in a war you cant even kill someone just because like cops do, this isn't the first time you see a cop going macho with their gun and killing someone for no ****ing reason. If it really takes 4 guys to detain one guy that drunk then you got a chit police force.

I don't agree with these riots or police defunding, but the police need better training and higher requirements other than running a mile and getting pepper sprayed.
-Some people say good things come to those who wait, truth is, good things come to those who work..... who work later.....who work harder...... who are willing to go further than anyone else to get them. If you're waiting for good things to come to you, you'll be waiting for a pretty long time.

-I'd rather live life saying "I failed" than "I could have"

Look a tough guy.

We train frequently, 6 people couldn't get me in cuffs. Srs

You should show up as naive as you are and get your ass handed to you out here in these streets. Its exactly what would happen too.

As far as deprivation of blood to the brain and heart, there would have been evidence of such had that been the case. I'd lean towards the fact that there was 4x the lethal dose of ******** in his system along with methamphetamine and THC.

But yeah sure. Intentional murder.

If there are riots because the cop didn't kill him, and it was surely the drugs, then that's what will happen. The justice system should not convict someone of murder if they didn't commit murder regardless of public outcry.
Hey boyo. Floyd said he couldn't breathe before he started resisting arrest. Kind of negates or blurs the whole claim while on the ground.

No one will stay on the job if passed. Supreme court upheld it time and time again. It's not going anywhere.

I know at least a dozen cops whe have lost suits and had to pay damages in both federal and state courts. Dont believe the hype, especially from a British twink who knows ****all about reality.
Believe you me, I know he's a turd sucking ******* and a degenerate piece of chit; I'm only trying to focus on the argument.

Proving intentions/motives is as difficult in court cause there's got to be an "exact identical" precedent. Full disclosure, I'm against doing away entirely with QI, AND I'd like to see it amended so that the justice on paper and what's happening on the ground are more consistent.

I feel for the cops, they're basically the garbage men who deal with and cleanup after each politicians' failings and they get the short end of the stick. So would want them to be protected by law- especially from leftists who autistically scream to defund the police and all that crap-, but not overprotected to the point of having little liability. How does that sound?

100% won't get charged for murder because Floyd was literally asking to be restrained on the ground and unwilling to wait in the police car. manslaughter could stick but that's up to interpretation... again because floyd was saying he couldnt breath before ever being touched and was resisting. without a murder charge the other police walk away from their accessory to murder charges. I don't agree with what the cop did, definetly used unnecessary force but I don't think any of the charges will be proven "beyond reasonable doubt." I bet they all walk free and riots go crazy...

also I'm calling it now.

trump will win the election and the left will say the election was rigged and threaten the West coast to succeed from the union. it will give boarders for a potential civil war.. hope that doesn't happen but would not at all be surprised. just wait...

Theoretical. I get the sentiment but law has a stasis for a reason. It's been worked over for decades and decades. Its stands for very particular reasons. A cool new idea on how to not protect me from even backing out of a parking space would be a disaster.

QI is legitimate for a reason plus if you want money we dont have any. They always sue the agency for the real money.

Youd only allow suits to be brought for summary judgements in favor of police legal fees. It's a disaster. Yiu have to have legitimate cause to sue an officer personally.

You can sue. The legal system looks at it and thumbs up or down to proceed. Nothing different.

Imagine having cops that would never risk turning on their blue light lmao

Does anyone actually think he shouldn't be charge?

Anyways, I wonder if the officers who sat there and did nothing while Chauvin tortured Floyd will get convicted.

The only thing he could actually be convicted of would be 3rd degree murder (unlikely) or involuntary manslaughter (2nd degree manslaughter in Minnesota). 1st and 2nd degree murder would be laughed out of court, 3rd degree murder if he gets a jury willing wanting to put him away for a while. While the drugs did play a big part in his death, I think the prosecutor could probably convince a jury that 2nd degree manslaughter is just.

It takes 4 to restrain a guy because they have to do it without hurting them. Look at the two in Atlanta and how a wrestling match turned into a shooting. If they could have just knocked his azz out wouldn't have been an issue, but they can't or it "looks bad".

LOL if you think Chauvin gets acquitted you're delusional.

Brace yourselves to find some new BS to drone on about after Chauvin gets 2nd degree minimum thrown at him.

Start building up a new set of bull**** topics to blab about because this one's all but done, just watch.
