Adrenaline might get me 50ft but would not even come close to making it. Even if it was a trillion dollars I wouldn't.

the strategy would be freerider, just like honnold. it is the easiest real legit accessible free route on el cap.

its 35 pitches and typically takes 4 days.

you would want to spend like 5-10 years freeing it before attempting to collect your 1 billion.

here is the crux i think

Alex Honnold and Tommy Caldwell died in 2018? That makes their record on the Continental Divide Linkup just last month even more impressive. None of the news articles about the feat mentioned they did it despite having been dead for two years.

This joke was funny the first 12,000 times man, but thats it.

Anyway to answer OP, id do it if you gave me 10 years of preparation time. I would sell everything and dedicate my life to training for it, travelling around the world, meeting pros and climbing with them etc.

If i die, i die, but i would have lived a pretty good and exciting life.

edit: who am i kidding im scared to even climb the regular type of tradie stairs lmao.
"The flowers bloom, then wither... The stars shine and one day become extinct. This earth, the sun, the galaxies and even the big universe, someday will be destroyed. Compared with that, the human life is only a blink, just a little time. In that short time - people are born, laugh, cry, fight, are injured, feel joy, sadness, hate someone, love someone. All in just a moment. And then, are embraced by the eternal sleep called death."

Dont believe he died from Climbing climbing. He was trying a new route up Everest (not climbng) and fell.

The issue isn't the difficulty for the most part (although it's definitely not easy and you need plenty of climbing experience to do it). The issue is the stamina portion. The main reason I think it's at least possible is because i have an incredibly light frame and could probably get down to 150-155 while maintaining my strength at current 185. 6ft, size 8.5 feet and 28in waist at my lightest

note: have transitioned my training to climbing 2-3x a week for the last 2 years
