The top 2 definitely have to be burned alive (getting trapped in a burning car after a wreck that catches fire) and then followed by eaten alive by an animal (bear/wolves attack while hiking/camping).

scaphism is pretty bad, but the op said the most painful way to die as a westerner in the 21st century.
I've ran this call. 16 year old kid. Screamed for his life the entire time. No thx

Burning to death is actually surprisingly quick and not as painful as people believe. The first moments are excruciating, but once the nerves are fried you stop feeling a lot of pain. Most die from inhaling hot gases and suffocating because the respiratory tract is completely destroyed.

Even 10 seconds of that chit is enough to put it on my top 1 worst ways to die list lol

Possibly even worse: getting 3rd degree burns all over your body but surviving until you die of an infection a few hours/days later

No pain meds. Yeah, I'm going with that

imagine being burnt but surviving with 3rd degree burns, then catching an infection...and finall being burned alive again a few days later but this time to death

Ultimate trolling, burning someone, saving them, and then burning them again

Being skinned alive or slowly eaten by insects

As scary as drowning sounds, it’s a cake walk in comparison to those two

Any medieval style torture scenario sounds terrible. Getting gutted like in Braveheart, what supposedly happened to William Wallace was much more phucked up than in the movie. Crucifixion sounds horrible with those nails in your ankles/hands and you basically hang up there for days until you die of exhaustion or exposure.

Modern day ways; getting cut up like one of those cartel executions is pretty bad, those brahs look like their still alive while they're being hacked to pieces. Extra bonus of getting your dink getting cut off and stuffed in your mouth once you're dead.

Stuck in low/hot heat @110f. Usually happens to babies of pieces of ****.

You are very lucky if all that happened was someone broke your car window to save your child.

Radiation poisoning, burn infection, or something psychological. (9/11,stuck at top of burning windmill, plane crash, lost at sea, etc)

Heres a fun one though. Delta P. Its a somewhat common accident.

It would be quick but just imagine getting your whole body sucked through a quarter sized hole

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Byford..._bell_accident

Not a quarter sized hole, but a human body should not fit through that.

Anything slow enough to be aware of your inevitable fate. Drowning takes several minutes where you're trying to breathe but only taking in more water. Stuck on a sunken boat with one small air pocket that's dwindling away until you actually spend that 5-10 minutes actually drowning would be terrifying.

Buried alive in a casket same way. Pitch dark, can barely move, each breath has less O2 that the one before until you slowly die. Nothing you can possibly do to stop it.

Osteosarcoma & Tetanus, no contest

There's nothing we can do for those pains

>Bone pain is the worst you can experience
>Tetanus is non-treatable; you die in the fetal position as your spine slowly breaks due to muscle contractions

Yeah I’d take drowning over this for sure.
