I live in Vegas and it's 112 right now.

73 when we are home. 72 at night.

Why would you lower it at night? Isn’t that counter intuitive. Dfw here I keep it at 72-73 all day and night

73 because I work nights and sleep in the daytime. I live in CO so the dry air cools things down very quickly. It can be 90 in the day and 60 at night so I just leave the ac on. It gets cool enough at night to auto shut off

It's all bout that sleeping comfy will cold temps.

I don't mind the mild discomfort of being warm some during the day ( in face while at the office, I hate that feeling you gotta put on additional layers due to the commercial A/C blowing at 62 degrees.
Just trying hard to not be a fat sack-o-chit.

68 until 1, then I have to up it to 70 as the ac will stay on indefinitely and eventually trip the breaker due to heating up and pulling too many amps
I can keep the top floor on 68 all day

Electricity bill has 400
Been 100+ for weeks down here in central tx

The average high temp for July was 110 here and it has not let up any. Nightly lows are in the 90s. If I try and keep my house lower than 80 the a/c will run 24/7.
