A little crossfit work at the end of my bb routine (srs). Gases me the fuk out in 3 minutes
"The flowers bloom, then wither... The stars shine and one day become extinct. This earth, the sun, the galaxies and even the big universe, someday will be destroyed. Compared with that, the human life is only a blink, just a little time. In that short time - people are born, laugh, cry, fight, are injured, feel joy, sadness, hate someone, love someone. All in just a moment. And then, are embraced by the eternal sleep called death."

Good regiment..

Those inexperienced. Will see shadowbozing and heavy bag and think thats nothing. But both excellent and provides many benefits other than just cardio

stairs HIIT because it is the most optimal form of cardio besides wingate bike sprint intervals.

HIIT = best thing for increasing insulin sensitivity which is extremely important for muscle gain and fat loss

Higher EPOC

Stairs are one of the best low impact movements for cardio for lifters and is great for conditioning the legs.

I also do a lot of walking to keep my NEAT up, which NEAT has been shown to burn more fat:vs muscle for every session than most cardio sessions.

No man has the right to be an amateur in the matter of physical training. It is a shame for a man to grow old without seeing the beauty and strength of which his body is capable.

Past couple of years HIIT on a treadmill. Have a treadmill at home now so just started that again

Used to go do sprints on a soccer field at my gym or go do hill sprints in my old neighborhood, but haven’t since my kid was born.

Before that ran quite a bit and put heavy lifting on the back burner. Also played basketball 4-5 days a week and was on a flag football team. Rode my bike a lot too. Got down to under 180lb and felt like a twink. But that was the best cardio I was in since senior year of HS but 20lbs of more muscle so I could jump out the gym and was faster than ever.

I try to walk outside for 30 min 4 or so days a week. If it's too hot or raining I walk on my treadmill.

Either run 3 miles, bike 10 miles, or swim 1 mile twice a week. Steady state is better than HIIT for me (not for calories but just convincing myself to actually do it)

don't think I ever have. I have had dreams where I was about to step on stage for a show and realized I was still way too out of shape and WTF was I doing. Dont think i have ever had an actual workout dream though which is strange.

Mostly biking. I do tours and races. Which are fun. I do indoor cycling for like 40-60 min of cardio on the reg. 50 plus miles are done on weekends, as the fall comes, I will probably start doing those like 4 times a week.

I also like the elliptical. That is usually consistent tempo with a heart rate of about 160 for 30-45 minutes daily.

I love swimming. The military base next to me had a 50 meter pool which they covered in the winter so we could swim all year around, but it broke. That sucks. Now that school is back in session, all the other recreational pools are closed during the week, and too swamped on the weekend to get any real workout.

I also love to jump rope. A little more impact, but not too much.

I don’t run. That **** is stupid and I am not good at it. I don’t have any desire to get better at it.

Swimming is by far my favorite.

Pre-corona, max incline treadmill at 3.5 speed for 20 minutes after lifting (lost 120 pounds doing this 5 years ago). Post rona - the Peloton I bought in March as everything shut down. Thought I would hate it, actually really like it. It's excellent cardio and is actually a pretty good leg workout.
