I have decided to partake abstinence until I’m a relationship, am I crazy

I’m a 26 yo, I’ll say I’m pretty attractive, get looks often, compliments, and I have a good number of women Interested in me. After my breakup in 2018 I went on spree, and 3 weeks ago, I slept with 2 girls within 4 days. The feeling of wanting to just stop having sex with girls I know I don’t want anything serious with had been building up, and that was the tipping point. So I’ve friend zoned all my FWBs.

The feeling of meaningless sex just began feeling really empty. Whether it was with an average girl or a really hot girl. Also there have been times where I felt like a girl just wanted to have sex with me. I was actually told this 2 days ago by a girl I hooked up with a few months after my breakup. But it wasn’t said in a malicious way, I’m actually her personal trainer now.

It just hasn’t been a good feeling honestly, I’m also giving up alcohol, not that I was a heavy drinker to begin with.

I’m really trying to turn a new leaf in life and just become a better overall human. Also the challenge of it is very welcomed.

I know it’s a crazy thing to say and do, especially saying It on here.

Exactly, it’s funny too, cause sleeping around, I think has made me think of my ex a lot more. Every time I slept with a different girl l think of my ex, I think of how I enjoyed it more, but I also think about just how much more there was to our relationship than sex. I think about our memories of just being silly with each other. And with these girls I just feel nothing, almost like the girl and I are using each other. Really been fcking with my head.

I did that basically until I found my GF 2 years ago.

Not in the sense that I was trying to abstain on purpose but in the sense that I never really cared about one night stands and I never chased girls. I had a few drunk hook ups when the girl chased me instead at a party but then I was like is that it? So pointless to do it constantly.

One friend thought I am gay just cuz I prefered drinking, blacking out and doing crazy stuff at parties rather than chasing girls to bed lol. Even been asked by a girl why I dont try to get with her.

Now I am with GF having sex daily whenever we feel like it, way more fun.

Hook ups are so overrated unless you really dont have anything else to do in ur life. Cant imagine texting constantly with girls, such a waste of time.

I'v been doing the same thing. Focus my time and energy on get a good career going, saving, investing, setting up life financially, and getting myself into a very self sufficient lifestyle and if I come across a lady that is gf/wife material, then I will pursue. Otherwise I'll reserve my time and energy on other things until I find a woman of value. Over all the games and texting and bullchit that goes with these girls that are in their 20s but act like teenagers.

No porn and nofap helps with this a lot. You don't constantly think about sex, and you use that test on life. Also staying busy.
