You have lots of genetic trends in races. Blacks more likely to get sickle cell, asians more likely to be allergic to alcohol. They can look at a skeleton/skull and guess at a race but not really be sure. They can look at DNA and guess at what race they would be but not 100% sure either.
There are many different races. One can tell people until blue in the face that 'race is a social construct' and not biological, but it's so obviously untrue and flies in the face of all human experience that very few people will ever believe it no matter how many seemingly scientific but ultimately sophistic arguments are presented.

We are biologically different, behave differently, and it is not "learned." We are genetically different. Deal with it.

Race being a biological category that determines a persons character is a white nationalist racist BS theory.

Race exists as a social construct that defines specific groups in a population that often do not share biological similarities. Racial differences are manifested through morphological characteristics selected by ecological factors.

This is the leading anthropological opinion according to the American Anthropological Association:
"Race" thus evolved as a worldview, a body of prejudgments that distorts our ideas about human differences and group behavior. Racial beliefs constitute myths about the diversity in the human species and about the abilities and behavior of people homogenized into "racial" categories. The myths fused behavior and physical features together in the public mind, impeding our comprehension of both biological variations and cultural behavior, implying that both are genetically determined. Racial myths bear no relationship to the reality of human capabilities or behavior. Scientists today find that reliance on such folk beliefs about human differences in research has led to countless errors.

At the end of the 20th century, we now understand that human cultural behavior is learned, conditioned into infants beginning at birth, and always subject to modification. No human is born with a built-in culture or language. Our temperaments, dispositions, and personalities, regardless of genetic propensities, are developed within sets of meanings and values that we call "culture." Studies of infant and early childhood learning and behavior attest to the reality of our cultures in forming who we are.

It is a basic tenet of anthropological knowledge that all normal human beings have the capacity to learn any cultural behavior. The American experience with immigrants from hundreds of different language and cultural backgrounds who have acquired some version of American culture traits and behavior is the clearest evidence of this fact. Moreover, people of all physical variations have learned different cultural behaviors and continue to do so as modern transportation moves millions of immigrants around the world.

How people have been accepted and treated within the context of a given society or culture has a direct impact on how they perform in that society. The "racial" worldview was invented to assign some groups to perpetual low status, while others were permitted access to privilege, power, and wealth. The tragedy in the United States has been that the policies and practices stemming from this worldview succeeded all too well in constructing unequal populations among Europeans, Native Americans, and peoples of African descent. Given what we know about the capacity of normal humans to achieve and function within any culture, we conclude that present-day inequalities between so-called "racial" groups are not consequences of their biological inheritance but products of historical and contemporary social, economic, educational, and political circumstances.

And the claim that genetics forms a basis for segregating races is outdated and obsolete in light of recent scientific evidence:http://sitn.hms.harvard.edu/flash/20...-21st-century/

What that paper suggests is that there is genetic heterogeneity and intermixtures between all supposed "races" and we can find, for example, more genetic similarity between an Asian and a white than that same white and another white.

Boasian anthropology is totally bogus. Boas ”was intent on showing that the scientific racism of the day had no basis, but he did have to shade his data some to make it work that way.”

That is an obviously ideological opinion piece, not a paper. Just because groups can sometimes overlap doesn't mean they aren't distinct groups.

liberals in general have low self esteem and as individuals aren't that threatening.

However, this is why they group up and why they do actually have some power as a group. So walk softly around libs in a group, they have no reservations on attacking you.

Average redditor is fat or skinny fat, dresses worth ****, has had less than 1 sexual partner, hunched over posture, gets offended easily, has no originality, with below average income

Aka a complete loser in every facet of life
This. Imagine living in a studio apartment or with your parents well into your 30's or later (not by choice), never gotten laid, barely have any friends, working a dead end job, and being too afraid to have a debate in person, and thinking your opinion of anything matters because you went to "college".

I don’t find Reddit to be worth posting on. I’ll just check the front page for some interesting/funny stuff and then sports stuff that I care about.

This is the danger of academia posing as an authority under the guise of peer review when no actual feedback is provided. Its really just an opinion.

We already did, Elliot Rodger.

What is ironic is the community in MISC and Reddit are the same, close minded individuals that hate people speaking an alternative opinion. Opinion is slightly more tolerated on the MISC because you cant stop posts unlike Reddit, but the community dislike it just as much. MISCers whine and bitch about libtards just as badly as redditors do about 'Republican facists'. Two sides of the same coin.
