Nothing sucks more than consistently going to gym and then being hit with sickness

Been hitting the gym hard the last 2-3 weeks, going 5-6 times a week, dropped 5 lbs and was making amazing progress. Now I am hit with some sickness with symptoms I am not use to.

post nasal drip, weird throat irritation (not sore throat), and then cough. And then the weird thing is that they come and go. also was belching a lot midway through workout primarily cause i would eat dinner before i go to gym.

How about losing a limb or dying?

Take some time off, it's not like you will never workout again

Hope its not covid.

I can say at least I haven't been sick since this covid thing started, getting sick for me usually hangs on for weeks cuz of crappy heart and lung health.

You gotta ease back into the gym brah. You can't just hammer it out after being off for long periods. Your CNS is fried...Chill for a week...Take some brisk walks or something.

I hope not, can't rule it out though. I have Asthma, but I am not really scared of this thing because it really is just another flu to me and I never took the flu seriously.

Yea, I remember looking it up in the past saying that working out a lot after a while can weaken your immune system, thus more likely to get you sick.

I run a mile every workout as a warmup, usually 1 mile at 6 speed. I end up being on the treadmill for at least 20 minutes every time since I just walk and get the blood pumping after my mile is done. Allergic to OJ btw lol.
