I get paid an extra $10 per day (pre-tax) for teaching special ed.

And they're not retards. They suffer from emotional trauma and behavioural issues.

Do you take offense to the word 'retard'?

Do the kids listen to you and comprehend the material for the most part?

how much extra power does retard strength give someone?

No, I don't. I learned not take things literally. Just like if someone calls you a dickhead, it doesn't mean that they think you have a penis on your forehead.

I'd say 50% of the kids 50% of the time.

ETA:

I need to expand on this.

So when they do not understand (some of these kids' levels are low but they do not necessarily have learning disabilities. However, most do have a learning disability), you need to break it down to very simple terms, differentiate, work one-on-one with them, give them frequent breaks from school work, etc.

Do you do remote teaching in Australia? If so, is it challenging to teach kids with special needs online?

What is the age group you work with? Does your class consist of more boys or girls? What made you decide to work with children with needs?

I doubt it. That's a pretty standard distinction in the special education world. Some teachers work with kids with academic needs, others "low incidence" students, others behavior and trauma.

Also in to know what percentage of strength is gained for retard strength...Same kid "mule dick" would fkn toss his handlers around like rag dolls during his episodes. I am aware that they tried to restrain without harming him but dude would outright own them on almost every occasion

When people are amazed at the strength or staying power of someone in crisis, I ask them:

"How hard could you fight if you thought you were fighting for your life?"

I know that kid wasn't actually fighting for his life and you know he wasn't, but his brain told him that he was. And his "handlers" as you called them, were trying to keep him safe and to keep themselves safe. That's going to look like he's winning every time, when in reality, as long as he wasn't hurting himself, they were winning. Now if they were fighting with the same motivations and goals as he was, it would have looked very different obviously.
