I mean I totally agree women have a series of awful obstacles to overcome. But so do men, or any other demographic, if you wanna pull up statistics and incidences.



I'm not rooting for any sort of oppression or inequality, but that's just the facts of life. Some people have it worse in some areas, others have it worse in other areas. Society has been improving in many ways, or seemed to be, until the recent ramp-up in identity politics the last 10 years. Things were organically sussing themselves out. Now everyone has been indoctrinated into this whinging, sanctimonious narcissism where it's trendy to rat on others or have them cancelled. The whole of society embracing Mean Girls behavior. It's absolutely pathetic and is ruining interpersonal communications between many.

There is only hyper-focus on the negative - when do you see people mention "Homicide and violent crime has considerably dropped in the US from the '80s to 2010s" or other positive statistics? It's all doom and gloom and these people are bad and those people are oppressed. Mind rot.
