I have been miscing for 10 years and it was one of the best decisions of my life. It was really intimidating i thot it would be filled with a bunch of brainiacs debating topics that would be over my IQ level (I have a registered iq of 82 according to whatismyiq.net). but one day I said fuk it and I started miscing and I was nodding my head in agreement with a lot of wat you guys were saying. ld the best part of the misc is that you guys talk in a way i can understand and i like how we all think the same way so i can just shut my brain off. i don't have to read thru the liberal bullchit. this is like a second home. well actually more like a third home because the doctor told me i should consider my psych ward to be a second home but you get the point.

But when I was listening to a lot of black metal during the 90’s they debuted with an album of like non-stop blast beats and then followed it with an entire album of flutes and ****, which doesn’t seem that unusual now that black metal is more associated with that type of music, but it was kind of shocking at the time. Especially considering black metal heads at the time largely relied on mail-order CD’s, so buying an album was a pretty big investment and you rarely got to hear it ahead of time.
So when I hear that Ulver took some weird musical turn I’m not that surprised.

No the closest thing I’ve listened to that hardcore punk style is probably Converge. Also made me think of Neurosis for some reason.

I used to like to listen to this a lot.
I still do at times.
Never was that big of a fan
But at least they didn't end up offing themselves like a lot of their contemporaries.

Didn't Ross from Friends play Axel F at the beginning of his "music career"?
As for your comment about the wife, isn't it usually the wife's job to be obnoxious and annoying?

This thread could use a bump.
Enjoy yours-elves my dudes.
Notice the use of 'ancient radiation' the first and second times and 'nascent radiation' the third time, nice lyrical detail there IMO. I could be mistaken but my musician's ear is nearly acute as my English.
"Beyond the Suns that guard this roost beyond your flowers of flaming truths, beyond your latest ad campains (misspelling here for nuance)... An old man's sitting collecting stamps in a room all filled with Chinese lamps he saves what other's throw away. He says that he'll be rich some-day..."
Be well and make an effort to bicker less maybe? Peace.

And it looks like the country may have elected a joke candidate named 'Jo(k)e Biden'
"I'll make you a deal, like any other candidate
We'll pretend we're walking home 'cause your future's at stake
My set is amazing, it even smells like a

There's a bar at the end where I can meet you and your friend
Someone scrawled on the wall "I smell the blood of les tricoteuses"
Who wrote up scandals in other bars
I'm having so much fun with the poisonous people
Spreading rumours and lies and stories they made up"
I'm almost ready to throw my hands up and take any "free" money if it's still up for grabs, since nobody gives a **** about earning anything anymore.

This thread is meant to bring a layer of brightness to a somewhat dark place on the net.
Just discovered this lovely cover, RIP Nina 2003
She took a song sung by a man singing like a girl and sung it like a man.
Two more for the 'Thin White Duke'.
As much as I like the jazzy Nina version the original instrumentals and vocals are kinda "streets ahead" but I always like variety.
There's too much good stuff in this World to devour it all, but I'll try...
Please keep sharing your favorite songs. Music is makes life worth living.
Enjoy.
