You might be surprised, there's actually a good bit of work and planning that goes into household management. It's also incredibly isolating and brain-numbing, I did that for a few years and wanted to kill myself. I will keep baking my pies though, thanks for the advice

Yeah, but you do have a flexible(ish) work schedule and usually don't have anyone micro managing you so long as chit gets done. It is isolating, repetitive, often dull, and looked down on by a lot of people. Not the only job like that though.

One leader who was a swinger and got into a fight with a dude because he was found banging his wife without permission, a white Nationalist who travels around South East Asia banging SEA hookers, another who was 30+ year old who manipulated an 18 year old into moving out of her mother home and moving in with him after 2 weeks of knowing - her parents took the case to court to get their daughter back - it found to have the mind of an 11 year old, etc. Degeneracy is rife amongst the leadership - nothing surprises me now.

I wasn't aware, but everything you're saying was what I suspected was actually going on here. What exactly is "trad," I assume SAHW/M, evangelical, homeschooling, that sort of thing?

It does surprise me when women in some of those communities surprise Pikachu face when they aren't given the respect they think they deserve. A megachurch in the DFW area had a huge scandal when a children's pastor was found to have been watching kiddie porn and thewifeof the criminal was disciplined by the church for divorcing him. All of these female church members were posting on social media about how crazy it was, how could the elders and church leadership not come to the wife when the dude is the actual abuser? It's like...You're not allowed to speak or teach, and you thought that you would suddenly have a voice when you wanted one? I'm pretty sure that they changed some internal policies after that, but the entire thing was wild.

You are gonna find them at the outdoor sports stores. You are gonna find them out with their families. How they dress and carry themselves is also different.

Trad is just a new hip short term way of saying "Traditional". A woman who actually wants to have kids, raise kids and take care of the house/home. Who can cook, but if a man can't cook then has no place to talk about women cooking ever. Not career focused women.

I am going to give cringe examples. Cringe because it is two societies that people fawn over.

Old Norse culture (the vikings), if men were gone from home for any reason, the woman ran everything. She ran the slaves, she ran the kids, she ran the homestead. If the man died, she became head of the household, no questions.

Ancient Sparta culture, when men were gone, women were in charge, no questions asked. If men left, they ran the fields, they did the work, they ran the slaves.

While men were present/hunting etc. Women tended to the kids, the home, provided for them and taught them about their society and culture. Literally preserving the culture, protecting the home and kids. Teaching and raising them until they were old enough for the boys to join the men or the women to marry.

Both Spartan and Viking societies had far more rights for their women than Greeks/Brits etc.

As I'm sure you've guessed it refers to traditional.

So, not necessarily Evangelical, though often the women are some form of Christian. From what I can tell it's not necessarily homeschooling either, it's more about women who embrace femininity, modest dress, abstinence, and being a homemaker.

I'm pretty sure that they changed some internal policies after that, but the entire thing was wild.
I'll be honest though, I would have thought that even in an Evangelical Megachurch they wouldn't have come down on the woman for divorcing her **** husband. I would have thought they would have quietly let things dissolve... Mind blowing.

I believe there are good hearted men who embrace the tradlife, but there seems to be a lot of chauvanistic and racist dicks who want it (whilst not living in accordance with those values themselves).
