Yea even before COVID children of traditional Hispanic, Asian, Slavic, Indian households tend to live with their parents for a long time because it's culturally acceptable. I think a large part of it is they tend to help out around the house and the parents actually like having their children around and generally it creates a community within the house although it can get crowded. The US is kind of unique in that kids are forced out into the world at 18 or younger usually without anything better than some minimum wage job which these days can barely get you anything. This is probably due to the fact that boomers themselves were kicked out at 18, but back then minimum wage was enough to support a family with kids and buy a house so it doesn't really work anymore and it basically just screws over kids cause they can't save money unless they land a really good job. However statistics show that over 50% of young adults under 30 live at home right now so I think people are starting to wise up.
