Lol make your own weights. I'm using 150lbs of sand bags. I can go get a slab of metal from a local farm or old rusted tractor weights. Hell you can buy tractor weights for cheaper right now and use them for make shift weights.

Get innovative. Buy a big army duffle bag cheap from the army surplus store and fill it with sand.

Fuk all these weight places and fuks price gouging weights.

Probably cost more for steel plate 1" or thicker even at scrap prices than actual plates.
Cheap route would be cast concrete.

If you are selling/food and water during a nuclear holocaust.... who is going to get price gouged on weights?
I could use a couple 45s but I’m waiting. I only have enough weight to load 300lb on my bar or 330 on my trap bar but it gets the job done. Just can’t squat or DL heavy

My iron masters go to 120lb each though so been doing lots of DB

Wow it’s almost like dicks sporting goods doesn’t randomly restock their weight plates that retail for 1-1.50/lb

Don’t want to buy cast iron? Call up your local blacksmith or machinist to make a pair of 45s from stainless steel or iron. Might actually be cheaper than commercial plates, if not more affordable than reseller prices, depending on material used and if you want handles built in and the edges smoothed

100% wrong.

I have a powerlifter buddy who begged me to buy the Ohio bar if I was going to start my home gym. Thanking him big time bc not all bars are made equal. I got it for like 299 right off the website and it is AMAZING.

I was working out at powerhouse fitness before....not exactly a bad gym. The bars they had there had garbage knurling, were actually a little off on thickness (too thin) and felt just wrong. The Ohio bar just feels better. Im not a hard-core powerlifter but a bar for 300 bucks with a lifetime warranty, im pretty stoked.

I sold an old EZ Curl (Preacher) bar and old rusted weight plates and some chit dumbbell handles for $500. They sat in my basement for 8 years collecting dust and I got them for free.

its probably all a part of china's master plan. they made a bunch of money of the u.s., flooded our water with testosterone decreasing hormones (the meds that do this manufactured in china, create tiktok and spy on everyone and propel the degeneration of basic values, moral conduct, break down family, BLM a concidence? doubtful, it not only took attention off china for the covid lockdown but also further degenerated and divided society.

These scum just buy that **** from regular stores then flip it.

Just call your local fitness store and ask what the lowest $ per lb is on plates.

Make sure you weigh each plate to make sure it’s accurate

Also keep in mind (if you didn’t know already) those 45s arent olympic diameter and closer to the size of a standard 35lb plate
